BkaiyachMa (Alwar) .-Villages held by a number of families, by possession without reference to shares. Bi•· (Na.rsingarh).-Gmss lands. Bund• (Alwar).-Embankments. CkattM·(Bha.ratpur).-Land paying one-fourth of the rents!. llaka (l1aqa).-An estate·or dependency, a property. lnam (Mysore).-Wholly or partially revenue-free tenure; minor inrim• are plots of inam lands situated' in a village, whether Government or inam. Istamrar (Gwalior, Indore, Bharatpur) .-A tenure which, though the revenue is assigned, is oharged with a permanently fixed quit-rent. ---- (Alwar).-A tenure which, though favourably assessed, is charged with a permanently fixed quit-rent. --- (Bh&ratpur).-Land paying a reduced permanently fixedjama (assessment). Japir (Mysore, Bikaner, Gwalior, Marwar, Kishanga.rh, Kotah, Narsingarh).-LanJ. granted revenu&-free on condition of military service or as a. charitable endowment. ----' (Indore, Barwa.ni) .-Land granted revenue-free on condition of military service or as a charitable endowment or in recognition of good services rendered to the State. · - (Aiwar).-Assignment of land revenue, with or without condition of military service and pa.ymeilt of commutation dues, granted in recognition of meritorious servioea to relations of the ruling chief or other high officials of the State. - (Kisha.ngarh) .-Land granted revenue-free on condition of military service either actually rendered or fulfilled by a rateable money contribution.
