BkaiyachMa (Alwar) .-Villages held by a number of families, by possession without reference to shares. Bi•· (Na.rsingarh).-Gmss lands. Bund• (Alwar).-Embankments. CkattM·(Bha.ratpur).-Land paying one-fourth of the rents!. llaka (l1aqa).-An estate·or dependency, a property. lnam (Mysore).-Wholly or partially revenue-free tenure; minor inrim• are plots of inam lands situated' in a village, whether Government or inam. Istamrar (Gwalior, Indore, Bharatpur) .-A tenure which, though the revenue is assigned, is oharged with a permanently fixed quit-rent. ---- (Alwar).-A tenure which, though favourably assessed, is charged with a permanently fixed quit-rent. --- (Bh&ratpur).-Land paying a reduced permanently fixedjama (assessment). Knalsa (Gwalior, Jaipur, Bika.ner, Ma.rwar, Bharatpur),-Land paying full revenue tc the State. KkatedMi (Jhalawar).-Same as raiyatwMi. Muafi (Gwalior, Alwar, Kotah, Bharatpm, Kishangarh).-Land granted free of revenue. Ottt-handi (lndore).-Assessment of revenue ca.lculated a.t a fixed rate per plough. Pate! (Mysore).-A village headman a.ppointed by Government. · Pattidari (Alwar).-Villages held by a number of fa.milies by sha.res, ancestral or customary.
