Today our business has grown to be vertically integrated from the farm to the consumer’s table. Our canola processing plants supply the oil used in packaging plants in Alberta and Ontario to manufacture a full line of non-hydrogentated oils, margarines, shortenings and laminating fats. Backed by a seasoned team of technical experts with a passion for innovation, we have developed products that are tailored to meet the ever-changing requirements facing the industry. We have been producing non-hydrogenated margarines and shortenings since 2003, and continue to successfully develop new products to meet a wide variety of applications. We have responded to consumers wanting cleaner labels and have removed artificial ingredients and preservatives while maintaining functionality. As demand increases, we are incorporating non-GMO oils to produce a select range of products. We believe consumers will continue to seek out healthier foods and the heart health benefits of canola fit that strategy. The lower saturated fat profile of canola oil make it one of the healthiest oils available.
