What a pleasure to judge at today’s show, thank you to Barbara for the very kind invitation, some excellent incentives to enter today ensuring a good number of quality present. I had the pleasure to judge in both the Pedigree Section 3 and the HP/PP section where the quality was truly outstanding today. Thank you to Matthew who was back by my side stewarding today.

1st & Best of Breed – McEntee's Xzibit Bear Hug (BSH n) Black Male 23.02.2018

What a difference a month can make! I last handled this super boy just 5 weeks ago but the difference with him today is considerable, with much improvement to the balance of his head and in particular his ears since the last time we met. Though they are still open at the base they are now sitting very well into the contours of his head with excellent width between, with rounded tips. His head is large, broad and powerful with excellent underlying bone structure, set on a very short, very thick neck. His eyes are well-rounded with good width between; they could just be a fraction larger though he has a super open British expression. His eye colour is copper. His nose is perfectly short with no exaggeration in type and broad, with broad muzzle and nose leather. Firm, broad chin and level bite. His cheeks are now beginning to develop well. His body for his age is showing impressive proportions, he is large and of excellent substance and weight with considerable bone to his short, very thick strong legs and he defines rounded paws. His coat is short, dense with good resilience, whilst it is still retaining some kitten softness; it is also beginning to change in texture to crisp up particularly in the centre of his shoulders where his adult coat is establishing itself. His colour is still completely sound to the roots; his black is even in tone throughout showing minimal ghost markings on his face and tail. He is truly a joy to handle so gentle and in presented in top show condition, whilst I liked the female winner, I awarded him the BOB today because he had the edge on type and maturity.

2nd Edney’s Rocadanne Storm (BSH n) Black Male 14.05.2018

A young male just 4 ½ months old at the in-between stage but showing obvious British qualities, just with a couple of colour issues today. His head could be better rounded as its broader and rounder across the top of his head then his muzzle which could have more width for balance. His ears are medium in sized, a fraction open at the base, but otherwise fitting well into the contours of his head, with rounded tips. He has a gently rounded brow leading to a nose which is medium in length and straight in profile. Firm chin and level bite. His colour around his nostrils is unusually sunkissed with a distinct brown colouration and i mention it only for the fact it really distracts your eye to narrow his nose more so than it is in actuality. His body is fairly cobby of equal proportions with medium tail to balance which is thicker at the base and rounded at the tip. His legs could be thicker but they are strong with firm paws. His colour is just a touch dull at present and pales to the roots somewhat. There are white hairs present on his head and some single hairs in random places on his body, chest, flanks, chest and abdomen. Showing a degree of ghost markings especially on his face and tail. His coat length and density are excellent it is short and extremely dense with a good texture already, still

Female

1st Gibson’s Laikenlove Voodoo Black Magic (BSH n) Black Female 19.04.2018

A very attractive young female of 4 ½ months, showing good British type and some excellent coat qualities. Her head is apple in shape, with nicely rounded broad top of head with medium neat ears which fit perfectly into the contours of her head, with reasonable width between and rounded tips. Gentle curve to her brow which leads to a reasonably short and straight nose with firm chin and level bite, for balance her chin could just be a fraction broader. Good round underlying bone structure to her cheeks which are still to fill. Her eyes are large, round with good width between and well opened with a pleasing typically British expression, a transitioning pale muddy colour at the moment. Her head is set on a short thick neck. She stands four square with good depth to her chest, she is a good weight, equally broad across her shoulders and rump, her legs are short, thick and she has firm round paws. Medium tail which is thicker the base and rounded at the tip. Her coat is excellent, it is short, dense and already has an impressive crisp texture developing. The colour pales minimally to the roots. She was a pleasure to handle and presented in excellent physical condition, she ran the male close for BOB.

2nd Smith’s Beauxchats Positively Onyx (BSH n) Black Female 27.04.2018

Another young female of just over 4 months and with the best colour of all the black kittens today. Nicely rounded broad head set on a short thick neck. Good width between medium ears, just a touch pen at the base with rounded tips which are well set into the contours of her head. Rounded brow with nose which is on the longer side, her muzzle however does have good width and fullness which balances the nose to retain her a British type. Her eyes could just be a fraction rounder and they are a tad deep set though good width between, and already a super deep copper coming through. Firm broad chin and level bite. She is starting to go taller, longer leaner in her body though she is broad with super bone to her legs which are proportionally short, thick and strong with firm rounded paws. Medium tail to balance. Her coat is jet black and sound to the roots, it has a real quality look to the colour and intensity, her coat is short and has a degree of density but is just flay laying somewhat. Shown in excellent condition and a very friendly baby.

Cream Kitten

1st and Best of Breed Bellingham’s Anetta Custard (BSH e) Cream Male 07.12.2017

A large adolescent male of almost 9 months. Large adolescent head with good width between his ears which are medium in size, with rounded tips and neatly set. His eyes could be larger and the top line is very straight, but well opened and reasonable width between, orange in colour. His nose could be shorter and the break is rather shallow in profile. His muzzle could be broader for balance. Strong firm chin with level bite, which could have more width. He has a huge frame to fill deep chest, Broad back and equally broad rum, he was perhaps standing a trifle tall on strong legs which could just be thicker for balance, medium-long tail thicker at the base and rounded at the tip. His Coat

2

Siamese Cat Club Tonkinese Cat Club Wyvern Cat Club 01.09.2018 Lizz Adair could be shorter and in the centre of his back her is unsound, however between his shoulders where the adult coat is coming in the paling is minimal. His colour is a cool mid-dark cream, showing heavy ghost markings throughout his body, on his face and his tail. He was quite nervous today but handled ok, being much happier in his pen and he was beautifully presented in tip top show condition.

AOC Silver Spotted Kitten

1st but Best of Breed Not Awarded – Pantings’ Ronaldo Blue Silver Heidi (BSH as 24) Blue Silver Spotted Female 11.04.2018

A young female of almost 5 months. Medium head, rounded brow with good width between medium ears of correct set. Her nose is a touch straight from the centre of her brow to the tip of her nose. Her muzzle could be broader as it is tending to narrow to the end with cheeks to fill for round balance. Her bite is level; chin could be stronger and broader. Her eyes could have more width between and be rounder in shape though they are large and well opened, in today’s hall lighting they appeared to be green to more the 50% of the eye colour from the centre of the pupil with hazel to the outer, I did take her over to daylight and unfortunately they remained the same. She is a well- built kitten, the head just needing to catch up to her body which is short, broad and cobby with equal proportions. Stood on firm legs with reasonably thick strong legs with rounded paws. Her tail is medium in length thicker at the base and rounded to the tips. Her coat could be shorter, it is very kitten soft and lacking any really density, because of that it is somewhat flat lying. Her colour is a cool mid blue to silver contrast however on her face, paws and chest she is showing a fair degree of tarnish, the spots on her flanks are fairly well broken, but at present her spine line is totally solid. Her other patter aspects are all present, ‘M’ to forehead, spectacle ribbons to the edge of her eyes forming at a point on her cheeks, well barred legs and ringed tail, with several complete and multiple broken necklaces and spots to her abdomen. She had a very sweet nature and handled well. Taking all into consideration with the eye colour, level of tarnish and pattern fault on her spineline I was unfortunately unable to give her Best of Breed today.

1st Denny’s Beauxchats Lady Eleanor (BSH a) Blue Female 27.07.2017

A very nice young female whom I have met at various stages of development and today she coming through the adolescent stage nicely. Her head is apple in shape, nicely balanced proportions of breadth and depth, with round op of head all set on a short thick neck, rounded brow leading to a short straight nose and broad muzzle and nose leather. Strong firm chin and level bite. Her ears have excellent with between, though still just a trifle wide at the base they now appear somewhat bonneted today, but they are small in size and otherwise fit well into the contours of her head with rounded tips. Cheeks now beginning to fill and developing well given her age. Her eyes are well set, with good width between, they are large, well opened of good orange in colour and she has a super open British expression. Her body is cobby with equal proportions and showing better width overall today, with good weight and substance. Deep chest, stood on short, strong legs with firm rounded

3

Siamese Cat Club Tonkinese Cat Club Wyvern Cat Club 01.09.2018 Lizz Adair paws. Medium length tail rounded at the tip. Her coat though nice and short, today is lacking density and because of this is a touch flat lying and has somewhat lost the crispness it was starting to develop when we last met. Today she has no silvering; it is completely sound to the roots, a mid-pale blue. Shown in good condition given the time of year and handling well.

2nd Telsdenize Viola Breeze (BSH c) Lilac Female 02.09.2017

Another adolescent female of almost 1 year old. Round head, large eyes with pronounced centre brow giving the impression that the eyes could be rounder and that they appear somewhat depressed to the centre, combined with deep nose break and very short nose with narrow nose leather. Though her eyes are orange in colour they show the whites of her eyes to the inside corners permanently visible and this gives her a startled expression that is unfortunately untypical of a . Her bite is just acceptable although she has a strong, prominent chin, and what I can only describe as a visible jawline from under her eyes to the outer edge of her chin framing a strong muzzle that lacks fullness and roundness. Her body, although she could be larger and broader overall, is much more breed typical, with reasonable breadth across her back, equally so her shoulders and rump, her legs are proportionally thick and strong with medium length tail to balance. Her coat could be shorter and is very soft and open in texture. The colour is a medium shade of lilac paling to the roots and lacks any pinkness tone, showing ghost markings on her head and tail but also faintly on her flanks and heavily silvered throughout. She was well prepared and handled well.

2nd CH Greendale Penelope Pitstop (BSH ns 12) Black Tipped Female 18.04.2016

A small and immature female of over 2 years old, lacking breadth and size overall today. Small head with reasonable width between medium ears with round top of head, her ears are a fraction high set with rounded tips. Her brow is perfectly rounded leading to a medium length nose with broad nose leather, slight bump in profile. Her muzzle could be fuller, rounder and broader for balance. She has no fullness to her cheeks. Her chin could be stronger it tends to fall away somewhat but bite is level. Her neck could be shorter and thicker and her body could have more size, width and substance overall. Her body is on the longer, leaner side with medium length tail which tapers to the end. In her coat she excels it is short, dense and with a true crisp texture, a clear colour with beautiful even distribution of tipping. Shown in excellent condition and handling well.

4

Siamese Cat Club Tonkinese Cat Club Wyvern Cat Club 01.09.2018 Lizz Adair rounded tips fitting perfectly into the contours of her head. She has a strong brow that is a touch heavy leading to an extremely short straight nose, now with a definite break and narrowing minimally on the bridge. Though her nose leather could be broader, her muzzle has good width and is showing good fullness with rounded cheeks which are still to fill completely. Her eyes are a gorgeous deep orange, because of her brow on first inspection they appear as if they could be a fraction rounder and that they are just a touch deep set but when she relaxed they are very well opened with good width between. Firm, broad chin and level bite. She could be larger overall and needing more substance for her size she is a reasonable weight, her body is as broad as it is short, cobby and standing low four square with strong short legs and firm rounded paws, she has a deep chest with an impressive thick full tail which is medium length, thicker at the base and rounded at the tip. Her coat is short, just lacking some density with the seasonality though still holding a degree of crispness, Her colour is a dark shade of blue and she just has a degree of silvering today. She is a pleasure to handle and despite the hot summer she was presented in good condition.

1st McConnnell’s Jococa Tommy Zoom (BSH a) Blue Male 26.02.2018

A seriously impressive kitten of just over 6 months showing excellent British type, size and maturity far beyond his tender age. He is a huge kitten with superb underlying bone structure; he has a large round head set on a short thick neck, rounded brow leading to a short straight, broad nose. Broad, full, round muzzle and already substantially developed cheeks with a strong, firm broad chin and level bite. His eyes have good width between and are a promising muddy brown in colour; they could just be a fraction larger for balance though they are very well opened with pleasing typically British expression. His ears are medium in size, with super breadth between and fitting perfectly into the contours of his head with rounded tips. His body for his age is just massive, he has a deep chest and he is broad across his shoulders and equally his rump, he is extremely four square and cobby with substantial weight, well supported on thick, strong legs with excellent bone and firm truly rounded paws, he has an incredible full thick tail which is medium length, thicker at the base and rounded at the tip. He is a pale, sound blue free of silver tipping but showing barring throughout today - the only thing typical of his age! His coat which is currently a touch kitten soft and he is retaining longer guard hairs in the centre of his back, otherwise elsewhere his coat is reasonably short with very good density and a crisp texture. He is an absolute pleasure to handle; presented immaculately he is a real wow factor kitten who even at this age is clear to see is an extremely promising ambassador for the breed.

2nd Bujalska-Axon’s Delphinium Summer Blues (BSH a) Blue Male 04.04.2018

He is a very good size, weight and substance. His has a Deep chest with short broad back set on strong legs with firm round paws and medium length tail to balance which is thicker at the base and rounded at the tip. He is a very pale blue, just a touch uneven at present but sound to the roots. His coat is short and dense with good resilience just the texture to develop as it is still kitten soft. He is shown in excellent condition with the most delightful nature. Running the class winner close, a top quality kitten perfectly fitting the breed standard and shown in excellent condition, a real joy to handle.

3rd Wood’s Charnodleywood Cinder-Toffee (BSH b) Chocolate Female

A gorgeous young female of just over 4 ½ months old showing good British type and a super-rich chocolate colour. Broad, round medium head developing well, set on short thick neck. Rounded brow leading to short broad nose, level bite and firm chin, with cheeks rounded but still to fill. She has small neat ears, with good width between and rounded tips and fitting well into the contours of her head. Her eyes are round, well opened with good width between of copper in colour. Her body is short and cobby of good weight and substance; she stands four square set on short, thick, strong legs with rounded paws. Medium-short length tail to balance, thicker at the base and rounded at the tip. Her coat is a rich shade of chocolate though it does pale to the roots and is banded showing a fair degree of ghost markings which are concentrated on her face, chest and tail but also visible on her flanks today. Her coat length is short and with reasonable density with texture developing. She has a super outgoing nature presenting herself to her best advantage; she was just so unlucky to meet these big boys as she is a quality example of the breed and her minority colour series.

A well grown female of 5 ½ months of good weight and substance with good British type. Round broad head with rounded brow leading to a short broad nose, just acceptable for British type. Showing good breadth across her muzzle with a strong broad firm chin and level bite. Her ears are medium in size just a fraction open at the base with rounded tips fitting well into the contours of her head. Cheeks already developing fullness well. Her eyes are round, well opened and with good width between a good developing orange in colour. A friendly girl in excellent condition.

3rd Schalbetter’s Schalikatz Romeo Y Julieta (BSH a) Blue Male 21.05.2018

The youngest in the class and very much between a baby and a boy at just 14 weeks, nevertheless very well grown for his age and showing obvious British type. Nicely rounded broad top of head set on a short thick neck, rounded strong brow leading to a very short straight nose and broad nose leather. His muzzle could have more fullness and roundness to develop. Strong, prominent firm chin and bite acceptable. Medium-small ears, he could have more width between for balance and they are a trifle wide at the base with rounded tips set well into the contours of his head. Because of his brow his eyes appear a touch deep set and that they could be a fraction rounder though they are well opened, set very wide apart and for his age an extremely promising orange muddy colour developing well. His body is super, he is broad, cobby and stands four square, equally broad across the shoulders and rump, already good depth to his chest, stood on short strong legs with firm rounded paws. Medium-short length tail rounded at the tip to balance. His coat is really in-between baby to kitten coat and as such he is heavy on guard hairs, but the length of the new coat is short and it is already incredibly dense and plush with real resilience already. Well-presented and such a showman already, a super endearing nature.

Her coat is reasonably short, a touch flat lying and kitten soft to texture at present. Her silver to black contrast overall is very good a silver sixpence tone with dense black, just a tiny amount of tarnish to her nose but does not detract. Her markings are superb, thumb prints to ears, facially she has a well-defined very broad M to her forehead, her spectacle ribbons start from the edge of her eyes and end on her cheeks, and they have two attractive lines running horizontally between them. Her spots on her toes are incredible, and the go up the insides of her front legs to meet excellent well defined bars. She has one thick prominent necklace and then several broken on her chest. Her eyes are large, round and well opened a very pale gold, verging on lemony coloured eyes and the whites of her eyes were visible throughout judging even when she was relaxed and especially so when she was alert. Her chest could be deeper but she has reasonable and equal width across her shoulders and rump all set on short thick strong legs with firm round paws. Her tail is medium-long and tapering somewhat, though thicker at the base. Her coat is very typically kitten soft and could have a lot more density and be crisper in texture. Her colour is a very pale and attractive lilac and cream which minimally pales to the roots on the entire of the back but between her shoulder blades and on her sides it is completely sound, the cream has significant development for her age with reasonable even mingling

What a difference a few months can make, today this female of almost 3 years old is looking much more mature then when we last met before the summer. Medium, broad head with medium ears which have reasonable width between, though still a touch open at the base and a fraction bonneted with rounded at the tips. She has a heavy brow, which gives the impression that her eyes could be rounder in shape but they are very wide between and they are large and well opened of good British expression and deep orange in colour. Although her cheeks have developed, she still needs more fullness to them and better width and depth to her muzzle for round balance. She has a very short and super broad nose, balanced well with broad nose leather showing multiple freckles. Unfortunately she is undershot as confirmed by the duty vet, firm chin. She has a large frame which is now starting to fill and as such standing more four square on her legs which are well boned, thick and strong with firm large round paws. Show in excellent physical condition, good weight and substance. Tail to balance which is medium in length and rounded at the tip. In today’s hall lighting she appears a dark, hot toned cream. Her coat is very good for length being short and dense with a crisp texture. She was very easy to handle and shown in good condition.

He loved his cuddles and leaned into me when we went to put him in his pen, I did notice that he had no blanket but I thik he would have cuddled me all day even if he had the plushest one in his pen! Just a fabulous boy all round.

Well choosing between these 4 on their show debut was like asking me to choose a sister - It’s just not going to happen! – They ALL deserved a 1st and so that is what they got! Written in pen order and no particular order as they were all winners!!

IGMC – Szwed's GMC Elvis (NPS n, 15/06/2015)

Now this is a “proper cat” as my husband called him! He is absolutely out of this world, he is a Black and white and he is HUGE! What a good job he was happy to come out of his pen. He has the most wonderful vivid green eyes, white above his nose but black nose leather and a black patch on his chin, a white bib and a slither of white on his lips like lipstick! White on his legs. His coat is super shinny and it was a pleasure to give him this award.

IGMC – Lewis' IGMC Miss Mary (NPS f, 28/04/2017)

Super long flowing coat which contrasted so well against her seal points, and off set her amazing blue eyes they literally sparkled, she is so incredible pretty and so obviously feminine. A real sweetheart to cuddle and was immaculately presented.
