Denise Howard is an accomplished artist and shared her tips on using different media. NOVEMBER DEMONSTRATION ST NOVEMBER 21 , 2019 Janki Chokshi Janki Chokshi who will be doing a demo of Indian designs using sand art . Janki Chokshi is a well-known bay area artist, with a rich background in art and a deep understanding on how people (especially kids) start to love and learn art. Her expertise is in mediums of colored pencil, sand painting, watercolor realism, drawing, and sketching realism. Janki is currently President of the Fine Arts League of Cupertino About Janki Chokshi Inspired by my father's passion for drawing and painting and my mother's love for music, I have been close to both painting and music since childhood. Under my father's guidance I learnt free hand as well as various drawing techniques. A number of years ago, I was introduced to painting in which sand was used as a medium. Working with sand, I have discovered a new creative side of me and have developed a lot of patience and discipline. I have also started painting with colored pencil For more information, please visit Janki’s website: : http://jankichokshi.com/ SAC Newsletter Page 3 of 21 MEMBERSHIP JOIN the Sunnyvale Art Club or RENEW your membership!
