Wednesday, September 06, 2017 Experience Spooky Tales Come to Life at Old World Wisconsin

Eagle, Wis. – After the sun sets, visit Old World Wisconsin for the always spooky, sometimes scary event, Halloween Legends and Lore. Halloween Legends and Lore celebrates the immigrant legends that were brought to Wisconsin as well as the folklore created here at home. The event will take place during the evenings of October 20-21 and October 27-28.

“The whole family will enjoy a night of Halloween fun,” said Dan Freas, director of Old World Wisconsin. “Guests will have the opportunity to explore a different side of Old World through a variety of immersive storytelling experiences, mazes, music, and tasty treats.”

At Halloween Legends and Lore, the veil is thin between this world and the next. Troves of tales brought to Wisconsin over the generations come to life as you venture into the dark of the woods, encounter traveling performers around their fire, hear eerie tales performed by lantern light, and attempt a haunted maze under the light of the moon. If you dare, stay for the Wendigo’s Bonfire at 8:30, and then join our Undertaker for The Night Parade - when the church bell tolls, summoning the spirits back to the other side

Halloween Legends and Lore will take place from 5:00p.m.– 9:00 p.m. and will be held rain or shine. Tasty treats will be available for purchase. For more information, call 262-594-6301 or visit oldworldwisconsin.org. Admission for this event is: Adults $12; children (4-17) $9; children 3 and under are free. Old World Wisconsin is closed until the event begins.
