FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: JUNE 26, 2020 FOX SPORTS OHIO ANNOUNCES NETWORK PROGRAMMING FOR JUNE 30-JULY 3 COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets and FOX Sports Ohio continue to bring fans special programming with the re-airing of games from the 2019-20 season from June 30-July 3 the club and network announced today. The game replays will also stream live on the FOX Sports GO app. In addition, the next episode of Blue Jackets Live: Home Edition will debut on Tuesday, June 30 at 7:30 p.m. ET. The show is a 30-minute weekly program that features interviews, stories, Blue Jackets and league updates hosted from the comforts of their own homes by the CBJ broadcast team of Jeff Rimer, Jody Shelley, Dave Maetzold, Jean-Luc Grand- Pierre and Brian Giesenschlag. This installment features special appearances by assistant coach Brad Larsen and center Pierre-Luc Dubois. Tuesday, June 30 – 8 p.m. ET and Wednesday, July 1 – 12 p.m. ET Dec. 21, 2019 – at Blue Jackets 5, New Jersey Devils 1: Forward Oliver Bjorkstrand scores two first period goals and goaltender Joonas Korpisalo stops 21-of-22 shots for the club’s fourth consecutive victory. Wednesday, July 1 – 8 p.m. ET and Thursday, July 2 – 12 p.m. ET Dec. 23, 2019 – Blue Jackets 3, at New York Islanders 2: Rookie blueliner Vladislav Gavrikov lifts the Blue Jackets to their fifth-straight win with a late third period tally. Thursday, July 2 – 8 p.m. ET and Friday, July 3 – 12 p.m. ET Dec. 31, 2019 – at Blue Jackets 4, Florida Panthers 1: Defenseman Zach Werenski collects his first career hat trick and netminder Elvis Merzlikins picks up his first career NHL victory after making 36 saves on New Year’s Eve. The schedule of Blue Jackets replays and other programming on FOX Sports Ohio will be updated in the coming weeks. The NHL announced its Return to Play Plan for the 2019-20 season last month. Clubs are currently in Phase 2 of the plan, which involves small group workouts of no more than six players at a time at club facilities. Phase 3, which is training camps for clubs, is set to begin on July 10 provided that medical and safety conditions allow, and the parties have reached an overall agreement on resuming play. Phase 4 will feature the top 24 teams – 12 from each conference – competing in two hub cities.
