Please Note: Members must ensure that they complete the Declarations of Interest sheet prior to the start of the meeting in respect of items other than Disclosable Pecuniary Interests and must indicate the action to be taken (i.e. to stay in the meeting, to leave the meeting or to stay in the meeting to make representations and then leave the meeting prior to any consideration or determination of the item)

4 To allow for Public Speaking – (maximum of 20 Minutes)

(a) A period of not more than twenty minutes will be made available for members of the public and Members of the Council to comment on any matter.

(b) If the Police Liaison Officer, a County Council or District Council Member is in attendance they will be given the opportunity to raise any relevant matter.

(c) Members declaring an interest other than a Disclosable Pecuniary Interest who wish to make representations or give evidence under the National Association of Local Councils’ (NALC) Code of Conduct shall do so at this stage.

5 To consider Duffield’s Cricket Club plans for the extension and refurbishment of the pavilion

6 a) To approve the Minutes of the Annual Council Meeting held on 3 May 2017

b) To approve the Minutes of the Full Council meeting held on 3 May 2017

7 To determine which items if any from Part 1 of the Agenda should be taken with the public excluded. If the Council decides to exclude the public it will be necessary to pass a resolution in the following terms: -

“In view of the confidential nature of item …. to consider a resolution to exclude the press and public from the meeting in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, s1, in order to discuss the item.”

11 To review actions being taken to address the Anti-Social Behaviour in the Village

12 Meadows School Footpath Resurfacing Report of Clerk on the quote received for resurfacing the footpath and to approve if works should be commissioned.

13 Outside Space Quotes Report of Clerk on the quotes received for each of the 3 projects and to approve if works should be commissioned and, if so, what contactor(s) to appoint.

14 Actions from SFGP • Progress with introduction of the Cemetery Income Check • Elect a Vice Chair for the SFGP in 2017/18

15 To approve the licences for Duffield Dynamos and Allestree Football Clubs if approved direct the Chairman and Vice Chairman sign the same

16 Music Festival To consider whether to grant a Licence to hold the Music Festival on Eyes Meadow for the period Friday 6 July 2018 to Sunday 8 July 2018 and if so to agree the License Fee.

17 Village Entertainment and Arts To consider whether to contribute to the provision of the 2017 Art and Music festivals in the Village under the powers of the Local Government Act 1972. Section 145 and if so to agree the amount.

20 Finance a) To approve Accounts for Payment for month ending 6 June 2017 Councillors Storer and A Woodings are asked to bring their I Pads and passwords and remain after the meeting closes to authorise on line banking payments and sign any cheques.

b) To consider upgrade to IT used by Assistant Clerk
