By defeating Mount St. Mary’s and Monmouth on the road last week, the Bobcats finished the year with ACC 0-0 an 8-1 NEC record and earned the right to host the NEC Tournament for the first time since 2008...Set to make its first-ever Big East 0-7 postseason appearance, Robert Morris claimed the #2 seed after posting a 7-2 league mark. Central Connecticut State starts...Junior goalie Lauren Filippone (West Babylon, NY/West Babylon) finished the season 8-7 on the year with an 11.08 goals against average and 160 saves for a .498 save percentage...On the year, the freshman class scored 97 of the team's 156 goals, good for 62.2 percent, and recorded 118 points, or 60.5 percent...The current five-game winning streak on which the Bulldogs ended the regular season marks the longest winning streak in the program's short NEC Women’s Lacrosse Division I history...Keckeisen led the Bulldogs last week with six goals, two assists and five ground balls. Central Connecticut State (7-9, 2-7 NEC) CCSU split its final two regular season games last week with a 21-11 win at Long Island on Thursday followed by a 12-10 setback at Wagner on Sunday...The Blue Devils established a new program record with seven victories on the year, breaking the mark of five set in 2010...The team’s 201 goals and 97 assists were also single-season Blue Devil records, eclipsing the 164 goals and 86 assists from the 2010 campaign...Junior keeper Erin DeLancey (Saratoga Springs, NY/Saratoga Springs) became CCSU’s all-time leader in victories this season. As the starting goalie the last two years, DeLancey has been responsible for all 12 of the team's wins during that time. Her 12 victories surpassed the previous record of nine set by Amanda Zabel between 2004-07...Senior midfielder Michele Conway (Wantagh, NY/Wantagh) is now second all-time on CCSU's career goals list and is only the second Blue Devil to reach the 100-goal mark...Sophomore attacker Betsy Vendel (Sandy Hook, CT/Newton) recorded a team-high 60 points this season on 31 goals and 29 assists...Vendel’s 29 helpers surpassed the single-season school record of 25 she set as a freshman. She now has 54 career assists, the most ever for a Blue Devil. Her 60 points were the second-most in a season in Blue Devil history, and she now has two of the three highest single-season point totals for a CCSU player...Vendel leads the NEC with 3.75 ppg and ranks second with 1.81 apg...Sophomore attacker Meaghan McCurry (Branford, CT/Branford) led CCSU with 38 goals on the year and ranked second with 55 points. Her scoring and goal totals are the third and fourth highest single-season marks, respectively, in program history...McCurry currently ranks third in the league in goals (2.38 per game) and fourth in points (3.44 per game)...Sophomore attacker Mackenzy Ryan (Carmel, NY/Mahopac) scored nine goals and added three assists over two games last week. She scored five goals and assisted on three others in an eight-point performance in the win over LIU. She also added two ground balls, two draw controls and two caused turnovers. The eight points matched an NEC single-game season-high. On Saturday, she scored four more times in the loss to Wagner...Ryan, who ranks fourth in the conference with 2.31 gpg, finished the year with 37 goals and five assists...DeLancey averaged 10.81 saves per game to rank second in the league and fifth in the nation. She also sits third on the circuit with 3.19 ground balls per contest.

Long Island (1-15, 1-8 NEC) The Blackbirds closed the season with a 21-11 loss to Central Connecticut State on Thursday and an 18-8 defeat at the hands of Bryant on Saturday...Freshman attacker Shakoya Smith (Baldwin, NY/ Baldwin) led LIU with five goals in the two games...Smith closed the season with four straight multi-goal games and was second on the team with 23 goals on the year...Senior attacker Annie Kalata (Nesconset, NY/Smithtown East) ended her year with a team-high 26 goals and 28 points...Kalata capped her career as one of just four LIU players with 100+ career goals and one of five with 100+ career points. Her total of 125 career goals ranks second at LIU...Senior midfielder Sara LaNoir (Queensbury, NY/Glens Falls) collected a team-high seven draw controls and six ground balls last week...LaNoir finished her career ranked sixth on the LIU list in ground balls and eighth in draw controls...Junior keeper Jacqueline Simonian (Farmingdale, NY/Plainedge) made nine saves to finish with 114 on the season and added six ground balls. Her save total is the eighth-best single-season mark in LIU annals...Senior attacker Jenna Schauder (Jackson, NJ/Jackson) capped her career ranked among the LIU all-time top-10 in goals (59, seventh), assists (16, seventh), ground balls (102, eighth), draw controls (81, seventh) and caused turnovers (32, ninth)...LaNoir, Kalata and Schauder all rank third with 65 career games played...Freshman midfielder Katie Williams (Charlottesville, VA/Albemarle) had four goals and five draw controls over the final weekend. She led LIU with five assists on the year and ranked second with 27 points...Long Island will bring back the bulk of its roster next season with 12 players slated to return with starting experience.

Monmouth (10-7, 5-4 NEC) Monmouth ended the season with a pair of losses at home to Sacred Heart (12-6) and Quinnipiac (13-8) last week...The Hawks finished with a 5-4 conference mark, missing the NEC Tournament for the first time in program history...Monmouth was without two starting defenders against the Bobcats...The Hawks were led by redshirt senior Molly O'Brien (Kennett Square, PA/Unionville) who had six points on five goals and an assist to go along with five ground balls and two draw controls...Senior goaltender Kirby Mundorf (Cambridge, MD/Seton Keogh) needed just one save going into the Quinnipiac game and finished with five to move into third all-time in Monmouth history...Senior midfielder Carissa Franzi (Fairfield, NJ/West Essex) had one of her best two-game offensive outputs, finishing with four goals and an assist to go along with three ground balls, four draw controls and two caused turnovers...Franzi, known for her hustle on defense, finished her career with 130 ground balls, which is eighth all-time at Monmouth. She also had 137 draw controls (third most at MU) and 79 caused turnovers (sixth all-time)...Senior defender Danielle Hawkins (Havre De Grace, MD/Havre De Grace) posted three ground balls and three caused turnovers on the weekend, while sophomore midfielder Gianna D'Urso (Fairfield, NJ/West Essex) matched that mark in one game against Sacred Heart...Senior midfielder Rachel Feirstein (St. James, NY/Smithtown East) ended her career ranked 10th in points at Monmouth, with 160 points on 123 goals and 37 assists. Her 123 goals is seventh all-time and her assist total is tied for 11th in MU annals...Monmouth finished with a 4-5 record at home and an impressive 6-2 road mark...Monmouth's four conference losses were the most in program history...The Hawks graduate seven seniors from this year's team...Feirstein is tenth in the NEC in scoring (2.88 ppg)...Franzi is fifth on the circuit in caused turnovers (1.59/game)...Mundorf leads the NEC with a 9.53 goals against average...On a national basis, Mundorf she is 16th in save percentage (.477) and 19th in saves per game (8.71).

Mount St. Mary’s (7-10, 6-3 NEC) Mount St. Mary’s advanced to the NEC Tournament for the ninth-straight year and the 13th time in 14 years after defeating Sacred Heart, 10-9, in a thrilling game on Saturday. Needing a win to qualify, the Mount scored the final three goals of the contest, including the decisive tally by senior attacker Nicole Price (White Hall, MD/North Harford) off an assist by junior midfielder Jen Semler (Baltimore, MD/ Perry Hall) with 21 seconds left...The Mount is the #3 seed in the NEC Tournament and will face #2 Robert Morris in Friday’s semifinals at Quinnipiac. Match time is 2:30 pm...It marked the second time the Mount played Sacred Heart in the final regular season game of the year in a must-win situation. The Mountaineers defeated the Pioneers, 10-9, in overtime in 2003 to clinch a playoff spot and start its nine- year run in the tournament. The matches had a similar pattern with Sacred Heart grabbing an early advantage before the Mountaineers rallied for the victory...Mount St. Mary’s also lost an 11-8 decision to Quinnipiac on Thursday...Price recorded a hat trick against the Bobcats and her late goal against the Pioneers was her lone tally of the game...Semler tallied two goals and two assists against the Bobcats, and added a marker and two assists versus Sacred Heart...Redshirt freshman midfielder Kaitlyn Larrimore (Pylesville, MD/North Harford) recorded a hat trick against Quinnipiac and a career-high four markers versus Sacred Heart to earn NEC Rookie of the Week honors. Trailing 9-7, Larrimore scored unassisted with 7:56 to play and on a free-position opportunity with just 1:26 left on the clock to tie the game at 9-9...It marked the first two times in Larrimore’s career that she scored at least three goals in a game...Junior midfielder Esther Rufolo (Woodstock, MD/Chapelgate Christian Academy) moved into fourth place in program history for career draw controls (118) and senior defender Aly Jost (Abington, MD/Bel Air) cracked the top-10 in career draws (79)...Mount St. Mary’s is 0-4 as the #3 seed in the NEC Tournament, though the Mountaineers do have the distinction of being the lone team seeded lower than #2 to win a playoff game. As the #4 seed, the Mount beat top-seeded Monmouth in the 2003 semifinals...The nine-year run of qualifying for the postseason is the longest active streak in the NEC...The Mount’s 13 NEC Tournament appearances is tied with Monmouth for most in league history...Mount St. Mary’s won the NEC Tournament twice, in 2004 and 2005...The Mount hasn’t won an NEC Tournament game since beating Quinnipiac in the 2007 semifinals...The Mount is 5-2 all-time against Robert Morris. Quinnipiac (11-4, 8-1 NEC) Quinnipiac claimed the NEC regular season title on Saturday with an 13-8 win at Monmouth.
