ETHAN EDMONDSON SCOTTSBORO HIGH SCHOOL Defensive End (6-3, 255) 2017: The defensive end had 32 tackles and five sacks through 6 games and also had two receptions at tight end and one TD. CAREER: Ethan, who also plays basketball and is related to former NBA great Charles Barkley, has 143 career tackles and 18 sacks, 25 tackles for loss and on offense, seven catches with three TDs. 2017: A multi-talented athlete, he has lined up a defensive end, nose guard, offensive tackle and offensive guard for Bob Jones. JOSH MARSH DECATUR HIGH SCHOOL Linebacker (6-3, 215) 2017: A leader on the field with a knack for making the big play, Josh has 103 tackles this season. JALEN RAYAM THOMPSON HIGH SCHOOL Linebacker (6-2, 220)
2017: Has split time at inside and outside linebacker and has amassed 90 tackles in 7 games and 5.5 sacks. He also has two interceptions. CAREER: The son of former Alabama defensive lineman Thomas Rayam and the younger brother of Boston College defensive lineman T.J. Rayam has been one of the mainstays in Thompson’s rise in 7A, earning All-County and All-State honors.
