1. The laundry at Bundaberg Endeavour Foundaiton Industries (EFI) needs to be relocated to upgrade the working environment for supported employees at the site. Your funding will go towards refitting the laundry and it’s appliances. 2. A sensory room for Hervey Bay Learning & Lifestyle will give customers with a sensory disability access to the facility. It is used to stimulate the user’s senses through the use of scents, sounds, textures, and colours. 3. A new gazebo and repaving of the outdoor area of Rockhampton Learning and Lifestyle will be used to refurbish the backyard accessed by customers. 4. Bowen and Mackay EFI’s both require new appliances for their lunchrooms for supported employees, which will improve the working environment and amenities at these sites. 5. Every year, people with a disability who access Endeavour Foundation services are given the opportunity to experience the rally. Your funding will give these select people the opportunity to get involved in the community and to see parts of they may otherwise not have the chance to see. 6. The airconditioning at Wacol EFI needs an upgrade to improve the working environment of supported employees. As employees are currently working in hot conditions during summer, this airconditioning will improve the welfare and efficiency of employees. 7. There are two new residential properties currently being built in Innisfail. This funding will go towards state of the art fit-out of the accommodation service to improve the living arrangements of people with a disability. We will be lucky enough to pass through Innisfail on the 2017 Great Endeavour Rally and may be able to visit the site and see exactly where your funding has gone. 8. Bundaberg EFI requires an automated conveyor to allow for adjustments to meet supported employee’s capabilities, improve safety, increase skill, and increase production. 9. Maroochydore EFI has identified a need for a labelling machine to improve working arrangements for people with a disability. This machine will replace what is currently a manual, repetitive task. 10. A metal dectector for Gympie Endeavour Foundation Industries is required for all orders to be scanned through for product safety. 11. Keon Park EFI require a tamper seal applicator for productivity as security sealing is currently done by hand; a pallet wrapper as the one currently in operation is old without any available replacement parts; and a label applicator as it is currently done by hand causing workplace healthy and safety issues for supported employees. 12. Kingaroy Kitchens requires a refridgerated van to support the potential to grow the Kingaroy business and provide more employment opportunities for people with a disability in the Kingaroy region. 13. Seven Hills EFI has identified a need for production tables and a labelling machine to replace their current equipment, to improve the working environment and safety for people with a disability.

Some projects listed may change if an urgent need for the recent cyclone and flood is identified. Any targets not reached this year may be eligible for funding from the 2018 Great Endeavour Rally.
