MARTEDì 22 LUGLIO 2014 A poche ore dalle nozze del leader Adam Levine, i MAROON 5 presentano ai fan di tutto il mondo la copertina e la tracklist del nuovo disco "V", in uscita il 2 settembre. Maroon 5, il nuovo disco "V" Nei negozi e in digitale dal 2 settembre L'album, il 5 della carriera della band, contiene anche il singolo "MAPS", ai vertici delle classifiche radio e digitali di tutto il mondo (in Italia è al #9 in radio e #15 in digitale). LA REDAZIONE Questo nuovo progetto vede tornare nel gruppo il tastierista Jesse Carmichael che aveva lasciato la band nel 2012 durante le registrazioni di "Overexposed". Si torna quindi alla formazione originale con Adam Levine (voce e leader), James Valentine (chitarra), Mickey Madden (basso), Matt Flynn (batteria e percussioni) e PJ Morton (tastiera). Vincitori di 3 Grammy Award (il primo nel 2005 come "Best New Artist"), i MAROON 5 sono stati capaci di conquistare fan e critica con un sound a cavallo tra rock e R&B fin dal disco di debutto del 2002 "Songs About Jane". Pag. 1 / 2 Il successo viene confermato con il secondo album multiplatino "It Won't be Soon Before Long" del 2007 che contiene hit come "Makes Me Wonder" e "If I Never See your Face Again". Nel 2010 la band pubblica il terzo album "Hands All Over", anch'esso certificato Platino. L'album comprende due hit mondiali (entrambe nominate ai Grammy) "Misery" e "Moves Like Jagger", quest'ultima sbanca tutte le classifiche e diventa uno dei singoli più venduti di tutti i tempi. Il quarto album del Maroon 5 pubblicato nel 2012 "Overexposed" non fa che rinforzare lo status della band come una certezza della musica pop e una fucina di singoli di grande successo. Il terzo singolo estratto dal disco "Daylight" debutta al # 1 in classifica e fa dei Maroon 5 la band che ha avuto più #1 negli ultimi 20 anni di storia della musica. I Maroon 5 si imbarcano a questo punto in quello che diventerà il tour più ricco del 2013, con oltre 50 milioni di dollari di biglietti venduti. Oltre al suo lavoro con la band, il frontman Adam Levine è anche quest'anno uno dei coach di The Voice USA, ha debuttato come attore nella serie American Horror Story e presto lo vedremo al cinema nel cast del film "Begin Again" per la regia di John Carney.
