Liz Plank Senior Editor Mic

Elizabeth Plank is a Senior Editor at Mic, a leading and media company for young people, the host of Flip The Script, a Mic weekly video series that confronts social issues, and a correspondent for MSNBC Shift's Krystal Clear, which she helps produce. Her writing has been mentioned in the New York Times, Al- Jazeera, Huffington Post, the Daily Beast, NPR, Alternet, Think Progress, Jezebel, Feministing, MTV.com and MSNBC. She's also appeared on The Today Show, The Daily Show, MSNBC, , ABC Fusion, Al-Jazeera America, BBC World, Canada's Tout Le Monde en Parle and CTV. In 2015, Liz was named one of Forbes' 30 Under 30 in media.

Through her online activism and creative approach to journalism, Liz has made it her mission to elevate the voices of those who are often not heard. As the creator of many viral campaigns such as #AllMenCan and #WithoutTheWageGapIWould, Liz is eager to work with organizations that both advocate and innovate in the public interest. Offering an original outlook on the world’s most unoriginal problems, her specialties include gender advocacy, millennial issues, policy analysis and social media strategy.

Prior to joining Mic, Liz was a research assistant and behavioral science consultant at the London School of Economics. She also built a loyal following through her viral campaign for Change.org and her writing for the Huffington Post.

Liz has a master's degree from the London School of Economics. An avid cyclist, she lives in New York City.
