CURRENT POSITION  Researcher of National Scientific and Technical Research Council of Argentina (CONICET). Line of research: Argentina foreign policy toward East Asian countries.  Titular professor of History of Contemporary International Relations, School of Political Science and International Relations, National University of Rosario, from August 2002.  Professor in the International Master in Chinese culture, economy and society, Institute of High University Studies, Madrid, Spain.  Adviser of the Rosario Board of Trade.  Translator in Chinese language.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Professor Oviedo has been fellow research from Research Council of the UNR, CONICET and the Organization of American States. As Chinese language translator was interpreter of President Menem, De la Rua, Duhalde, Kirchner and Fernandez de Kirchner. He is advises of the Rosario Board of Trade; member of the Argentine Council for International Relations (CARI) and the Ibero-American Sinology Network. He has been visiting professor at Complutense University of Madrid, Autonomous University of Madrid; Autonomous University of Barcelona and Peking University. He participates in the Academic Committee of the Journals Studies in Asia and Africa, Mexico, and Tempo Exterior, Spain. He is also professor at the Catholic University of Córdoba; and the Specialization in Business with Asia Pacific and India, in the National University of Tres de Febrero, Argentina. Currently is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Argentine-Chinese Bilateral Centre in Food.
