Testing Units Employees Returning to Work On Rapid antigen testing for employees and the general population is in progress - Testing units Employees returning to work on 8 February, according to the decree in force, must undergo a rapid antigen test during this week. Within this framework, the Ministry of Health is conducting a nationwide program of free screening with rapid antigen tests, in order to ensure a smooth and safe reopening of businesses/sectors. Based on the above and to make the screening possible for everyone returning to their work place, the employees are grouped alphabetically according to their surname, as follows: Day/Date Surname – Greek alphabet Surname – Latin alphabet Thursday, 4 February Κ – Λ J – M Friday, 5 February Μ – Ο N – R Saturday, 6 February Π – Σ S – V Sunday, 7 February Τ – Ω W – Z Employees are encouraged to adhere to the above alphabetical grouping, so that the program will be carried out in an organized manner without overcrowding or inconvenience. The employees with a surname Α - Ι (Greek alphabet) and A - I (Latin alphabet) who have not proceeded for testing yet, are asked to undergo a test in the following days, since a negative rapid test outcome constitutes a requirement for returning to work. The testing program for employees will be carried out at the same time as the testing program for the general population. In order to better serve all citizens, 55 testing units are operating in the whole of Cyprus, with extended operating hours for the period 4-7 February, as follows: District Operating Location of testing units hours 8.30 a.m. - 6 Church of Agios Ioannis Eleimon, Lemesos p.m. ‘Andreas Themistocleous’ TEPAK building, 8.30 a.m. - 6 Ayia Zoni (old land registry, Athinon street) p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Church of Agios Nektarios, Mesa Geitonia p.m. Lemesos/ Limassol Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul, 8.30 a.m. - 6 (15 units) Kapsalos p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Church of Panagia Evangelistria, Polemidia p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Church of Panayia Chrysopolitissa, Ypsonas p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Church of Agia Varvara, Zakaki p.m. Cultural Centre of the Municipality of 8.30 a.m. - 6 Germasogeia p.m. Church of the Apostle Lucas, Agios 8.30 a.m. - 6 Athanasios (Housing settlement) p.m. "Kouris" Union, Erimi (Opposite former 8.30 a.m. - 6 Cyprus Cooperative Bank) p.m. 8.30 a.m. - Trimiklini Community Council 1.30 p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Church of Agios Stylianos, Linopetra p.m. 1.30 p.m. - Multifunctional Center, Pyrgos, Lemesos 5.30 p.m. 8.30 a.m. –12 Moutagiaka Community Amphitheatre p.m. Parking space at Agios Athanasios Industrial 8 a.m. – 4.30 Zone p.m. “Agios Georgios Kontos” Cultural Centre, 8.30 a.m. - 6 Larnaka p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Larnaka Municipal Theatre p.m. Apostolos Pavlos Church, Larnaka (Krasas 8.30 a.m. - 6 area) p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Hall of the “Agios Savvas” Centre, Livadia p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Dromolaxia Municipal Amphitheatre p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 “Omonia Aradippou” Union, Aradippou p.m. Larnaka (12 units) 8.30 a.m.-1 Palaio Pantopoleio building, Xylotympou p.m. 1.30 pm-6 Ormidia Community Council p.m. 8.30 a.m.-1 Skarinou Cultural Centre p.m. 1.30 pm-6 Kornos Community Clinic p.m. 1.30 pm-6 Athienou Indoor Sports Hall p.m. Old Community Council of Oroklini (1 8.30 a.m.-1 Armonias Street) p.m. State Fair, Engomi (in front of the East 8.30 a.m. - 6 Entrance) p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Agios Pavlos Church, Agios Dometios p.m. Lefkosia 8.30 a.m. - 6 Agios Dimitrios Church, Acropolis (15 units) p.m. Apostolos Andreas Church, Aglantzia 8.30 a.m. - 6 (Kyrenia Avenue) p.m. Church of Panagia Evangelistria, 8.30 a.m. - 6 Palouriotissa p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Church of Agios Georgios, Latsia p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Church of Agia Paraskevi, Lakatamia p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Tis tou Theou Sofias Church, Strovolos p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Agios Vasileios Church, Strovolos p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Geri Municipality p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Agios Georgios Church, Deftera p.m. Church of the Apostle Varnavas, 8.30 a.m. - 6 Kokkinotrimithia p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Dali Health Centre p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 Arediou Community Council p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 6 “Triptolemos” Union, Evrychou p.m. Church of the Apostles Pavlos and Varnavas, 8.30 a.m. - 6 Pafos p.m. Former House of the District Officer, Pafos 8.30 a.m. - 6 (Griva Digeni Street) p.m. Apostolos Andreas Church, Polis 8.30 a.m. - 1 Pafos Chrysochous p.m. (6 units) Multipurpose Hall of the Community Council 2 p.m. - 6 of Emba p.m. Timi Community Clinic 8.30 a.m. - 1 p.m. 1.30 p.m. - 6 Church of Agia Paraskevi, Geroskipou p.m. Spiritual Center of the Metropolitan Church of 8.30 a.m. - 6 Paralimni p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 1 “Onisilos” Association, Sotira p.m. 1.30 pm - 6 Ayia Napa Church, Ayia Napa p.m. Ammochostos (7 units) 8.30 a.m. - 1 Avgorou Senior Citizens’ club p.m. 1.30 p.m.-6 Ethnikofrona Somateia, Liopetri p.m. 8.30 a.m. - 1 Frenaros Community Council p.m. 1.30 p.m. – 6 Deryneia Adults’ Center p.m. 4/2/2021 .

CYPRUS Cyprus in your Heart Life is the Journey That You Make It It is often said that life is not only what you are given, but what you make of it. In the beautiful Mediterranean island of Cyprus, its warm inhabitants have truly taken the motto to heart. Whether it’s an elderly man who basks under the shade of a leafy lemon tree passionately playing a game of backgammon with his best friend in the village square, or a mother who busies herself making a range of homemade delicacies for the entire family to enjoy, passion and lust for life are experienced at every turn. And when glimpsing around a hidden corner, you can always expect the unexpected. Colourful orange groves surround stunning ancient ruins, rugged cliffs embrace idyllic calm turquoise waters, and shady pine covered mountains are brought to life with clusters of stone built villages begging to be explored. Amidst the wide diversity of cultural and natural heritage is a burgeoning cosmopolitan life boasting towns where glamorous restaurants sit side by side trendy boutiques, as winding old streets dotted with quaint taverns give way to contemporary galleries or artistic cafes. Sit down to take in all the splendour and you’ll be made to feel right at home as the locals warmly entice you to join their world where every visitor is made to feel like one of their own. 2 Beachside Splendour Meets Countryside Bliss Lovers of the Mediterranean often flock to the island of Aphrodite to catch their breath in a place where time stands still amidst the beauty of nature.

The wild bees of the island were studied extensively by the native George Mavro- moustakis, a world-renowned bee taxonomist, who collected extensively on the island from 1916 to 1957 and summarised his results in a series of eight Cyprus-specific papers published from 1949 [“1948”] to 1957.
