EXHIBITIONS DANSK DESIGN CENTER 2006 ”Honey I´m home”. Theme exhibition, concerning the modern privateness in the public space. Signal exhibits in collaboration with BG Bank as the theme ”meeting between the young customer and the bank”. VISIT DENMARK – EXHIBITION CONCEPT FOR EXHIBITIONS IN FRANKFURT AND BARCELONA. Total concept for Visit Denmark’s exhibition stand at two conferences, where Denmark’s values are branded and a dynamic meeting place is created for Visit Denmark’s cooperation partners and their clients RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT THE MINISTRY OF SOCIAL AFFAIRS SIGNAL participates in a joint consortium with researchers from DTU (Technical University of Denmark) and others in a development project, where we will examine the role of user behavior in connection to sustainable energy renovation. The projects aims 3 to ensure that technical initiatives with regards to sustainable energy are backed up with the appropriate behavior, when taken into use. PH.D. SIGNAL started a PhD in collaboration with Marianne Stang Våland (previous Director of Learning Lab Denmark). The aim of the PhD project is to develop and describe the added value that takes place for the end user of space when “people, leadership and space” are integrated in the design process. How can space be used as a strategic leadership tool in mergers and facilitating the development of an organization? The Project is embedded at the Center for Management Studies of the Building Process with Professor Kristian Kreiner. REALDANIA FOUNDATION´ SIGNAL has developed a program for The Optimal Hospice of the Future for the RealDania Foundation, in cooperation with The Danish Cancer Society and Hospice Forum Denmark. The project will be realized via a series of specific building projects, where SIGNAL is the RealDania’s representative with regards to the implementation of the program in specific projects that will be built in the period 2006 – 2009 VISIONS FOR THE FUTURE WORKPLACES IN CENTRAL GOVERNMENT In September 2005 SIGNAL turned in a development project to the Palaces and Properties Agency – a task that involved describing A Vision for Workplaces in Central Government Year 2015. The development project was undertaken in cooperation with DEGW, an English company that through 30 years have worked internationally with space planning and development with large public and private clients. ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND INDOOR CLIMATE IN OFFICES Gitte Andersen takes part in a project based at Danish Building Research Institute regarding “Energy consumption and indoor climate in offices with large room depth”. The main aim of the project is to draw up guidelines for planning and projecting optimal physical frameworks for office environments of the future (New Ways of Working) both in new construction and renovation of existing office buildings. The project aims to establish the best possible conditions with relation to indoor climate to promote the users well-being and productivity while minimising energy consumption for lighting, ventilation and cooling. The project is specifically aimed at contemporary new office concepts. SJÆLSØ GRUPPEN – CONCEPT FOR WORLD TRADE CENTER IN ØRESTAD Idea sketches for common areas and rental types, as well as concepts for establishment of World Trade Centre in Ørestad. In cooperation with Utzon architects that are responsible for architecture and building concept. 4 . Pilot project in existing building involving trials og new forms of cooperation, flexibility and activity-based environments. THE HOSPITAL PROJECTS (“SPA”) IN AKERSHUS Process consulting in connection with further development of the office zones at Akershus University Hospital, Norway. An internal process in which the success criterion is working environments designed to provide optimal support for defined values, culture and forms of cooperation. Responsible for workshops, production of studies and scenarios. NYCOMED - IPA Design of pilot project in existing building involving trials of new forms of cooperation, flexibility and activity-based environments. Elaboration of needs analysis based upon factual identification of needs and on employee relations; identified through workshops, questionnaires and interviews. Followed up by space planning of exisiting property with starting point in the Needs Analysis. DCC ENERGI Space planning of new premises in existing property at Nærum, Copenhagen. Analysis of needs as well as strategic consultation on placement of manager/employee/meeting facilities in an open space office environment. Detailed space planning / interior design as well as presentation of visual concepts. GREEN WIND ENERGY Consulting and working out an interior design proposal to Green Wind Energy in connection with the relocation to new physical settings. SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC Rearrangement of existing building focusing on interior design to promote and improve the work processes of the organization. DONG ENERGY Signal consultant for DONG Energy in connection with optimizing the work environments in the headquarters in Gentofte and the branch at Glentegaard. OFR (DANISH OIL INDUSTRY REPRESENTATION) Establishment of a programme for new corporate premises. Various studies in connection with prospective locations.
