The MAAC and competition during the 2014-2015 academic year. The 2015 MAAC Basketball Championships marked the 16th time that Albany had hosted the championships, with the most recent taking place in 2010. By having an excellent working relationship with various facilities, the MAAC has been able to attract a number of NCAA Championship events. Most recently, the MAAC along with Siena College hosted the 2015 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Albany Regional at the Times Union Center.
