Her Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah binti Almarhum Al-Mutawaakil Alallah Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj undertook a private visit to New Delhi on 6-8 December 2019.

Her Majesty attended the International Craft Award which was held in conjunction with the India Craft Week on 7 December 2019 at GMR Aerocity, New Delhi. Her Majesty received a prestigious and well-deserved award entitled Craft Icon of the Year awarded by the World Craft Council (WCC).

2ND ASEAN-INDIA YOUTH SUMMIT

H.E. Dato’ Hidayat Abdul Hamid, High Commissioner of Malaysia to India took part in the 2nd ASEAN-India Youth Summit in Guwahati, Assam from 3 – 6 February 2019. The Summit, which was organized by the Ministry of External Affairs India, saw the participation of youths from all ASEAN countries, including ten participants from Malaysia. The participants came from various backgrounds, such as civil servants, entrepreneur, social activists, and personalities.

During the Summit, H.E. High Commissioner shared his views and experiences with the participants on two topics, namely “Governance”, as well as “Entrepreneurship”. Also present during the Summit were the Chief Ministers of the northeastern states, who promoted the region as the gateway to ASEAN.
