Athens, September 15, 2014 The Acropolis Museum and The Stoa of Attalos

The International New York Times and Kathimerini are proud to host the 2nd “Athens Forum: Democracy under pressure”, a series of high level debates and panel discussions focusing on the key issues challenging democracy in the world. The conference will be held at the Acropolis Museum and the Stoa of Attalos in the ancient Agora of Athens at the foot of the Acropolis, where Athenian democracy was born 2,500 years ago. This conference is held in cooperation with the Democracy Fund as its principal global event on September 15, the International Day of Democracy.
