Badminton has been in full swing this month as our Waldeck Warriors Badminton team has trav- eled and competed at three different schools. Our first location was at Herbert where we had an opportunity to get our feet wet and compete against their teams in some friendly badminton matches. Our second location was at Hazlet and once again they were great hosts. It was an ex- cellent opportunity to play at a different school and to work on our skills that we have been de- veloping in practice. Our last location was at Wymark where we challenged the Wolverines. Mr. Jago was a gracious host. Again, it was a chance to fine tune our skills and get us ready for the sub-sectional tournament at Gull Lake on Saturday, April 30. The following players participated in the sub-sectionals at Gull Lake this past weekend: Kendra Laybourne, Amber Hansen, Tanner Gray, Zack Painchaud, Landis Lang, Carter Williams, and Austin Wiebe. They represented Waldeck School very well and came away with many awards! Good job Warriors! It should also be mentioned that it has been a fun group of players to coach this year. All of you have had good attitudes and have really improved in your skills. Finally a big thank you to Mrs. Wiebe who was a wealth of knowledge as she helped co-coach the team! Mr.
