We remain open to any ideas and their time free of charge but also often provide a range of other services at no cost suggestions for improvements. to the organisation. As mentioned in the Chief Executive’s introduction we have introduced the Ambassador Scheme recognizing the commitment given by As always, on behalf on my fellow trustees, I should like to finish my report by particular volunteers. Without the fantastic contribution by all our volunteers thanking the staff and volunteers of Havering Mind for their continued support Havering Mind could not maintain the services it provides. and hard work in providing the range of mental health services Havering Mind delivers. Unfortunately, for the fourth year in a row, we continued to be subject to reduced funding whilst at the same time having even more referrals for the use of our mental health services. As highlighted in the Treasurer’s report we are increasingly dependent on our fund raising activities. These are organised by our community fund raising team. Income from this area, together with donations, now represents “We will continue to move forward approximately 25% of the organisation's revenue and without this we could not continue. The organisation is very grateful to all those involved in organising these with new initiatives to support the growing demand fund raising activities together with members of the public who support us in attending the events. for our services” We will continue to move forward with new initiatives in community fund raising Chairman Bob Antell together with seeking to increase the income from our already established events. Our largest event is the annual Wings & Wheels family show held at Damyn’s Hall Airfield. The event continues to grow both in terms of the number of the public attending plus the activities and attractions we have on the day.
