If you are interested in applying please send your CV and a covering letter to: Hussain Hanif, PCC Director of Cricket, [email protected], by 5pm Friday 19th June 2020. Dear PCC members. I am pleased to advise that The Terry Jarvis Centre will be open for use from Monday 18 May 2020. The online booking system will be live from 9am Monday 18 May 2020. Please note that there are strict guidelines that we must adhere to while in Level 2. 1. Contract Tracking – when you make your online booking a compulsory Contract tracking field will appear – this must be filled in before you can complete your booking. This field requires the person booking to advise name, email and mobile number of all people using the net. 2. Limited Numbers – at this stage we can only have 10 people (including coaches and parents) using the 3 nets at any one time – so for now please book 1 on 1 sessions or at the most 1 on 2 net sessions. 3. Parents Drop off – if you are being dropped off by a parent or other person who is not involved with the net session, we ask that this person ensures you arrive to the TJC safely, but does not enter the TJC premises. We need to restrict the numbers in the TJC. If you do need to stay we ask that you fill out the manual Contract tracking sheet that is stationed at the front door – again, this requires – name, email, mobile number, time in and time out. 4. Physical Distancing – Please be aware of the physical distancing requirement of 2 metres. This includes in the TJC nets but also if you are in the TJC upstairs mezzanine. 5. Drinking water – please do not use the TJC glasses / cups for drinking. We don’t want cups to be shared – please ensure you have your own personal water bottle. 6. Toilets - The upstairs toilets will be open – please ensure you continue to use excellent hygiene standards. 7. Sanitisers – We will have sanitisers available and we ask that you use these when you enter and leave the TJC premises. It would be worthwhile for you to consider having your own sanitiser for your personal use. IT IS COMPULSORY TO SANITISE YOUR HANDS WHEN ENTERING AND LEAVING THE TJC FACILITY. 8. Net Booking change-over - As we are restricted from having more than 10 people in the TJC at one time please undertake the following – 1. After your net session – please leave promptly. 2. If you are waiting for a session, please wait until the previous group has left. I know this might be a little frustrating, but it will ensure we are following protocol and eliminating any unnecessary contact. Please remember that for now, we need to be very aware of, and adhering to these protocols. Hopefully after we move to Level 1 there will be less restrictions and we will be back to a more ‘normal’ situation. Thank you for your understanding and please enjoy the use of The Terry Jarvis Centre. Stay well, play safe Steve Hurdley. PCC Club Manager. Best wishes from all at Parnell go to you and may you have an injury free 2020/21 Season! After your outstanding ICC CWC 19 performance to receive those two injuries, broken thumb in Sri Lanka and the calf strain sustained in Perth, would have been galling. L Lockie, we hope that cricket restarts soon, that we get a full programme of international cricket this coming season and that you resume, in full fitness, your interrupted Test career! And have further outstanding successes in the ODIs! AUCKLAND A in 2019/20 Corey Anderson Josh Fisher Brad Rodden Auckland A seldom gets any media coverage and even on Auckland Cricket’s website game details have been hard to find. And, if found, usually just another “trial” against Northern Districts A – ho hum! But all is forgiven – full details of last season’s results are now on Auckland Cricket’s web and are shown below. Corey Anderson turned out for the As in one game and note the performances of our Ben Horne when Glenn Phillips took the gloves for the Aces. Ben retrieved them very quickly and then proved indispensable for the Aces both behind the stumps and with the bat. Plus the outstanding performances of Brad Rodden and Josh Fisher when these two were called into the Auckland A team late in the season – these are highlighted.
