Always flexible! Be excited about Scouting and our fall events, but be flexible, creative, and patient as the pandemic runs its course. Semper Gumby. Be on guard against the temptation to simply return to pre-pandemic routines by default. Fresh new ideas are necessary to help deliver Scouting’s goals of character and leadership development, citizenship training, and personal fitness in our rapidly changing world. The new families who will join your Scouting unit in the coming weeks are ready to lean in with fresh new ideas about Scouting. Give them many ways to share their thoughts and make a difference. Your Scouting program will be stronger for it. Best wishes for a great fall recruitment, Yours in Scouting, Timothy J. “Tim” Trace, New Horizons District Commissioner, Greater St. Louis Area Council 314-283-3420 [email protected] ================> ACTIVITIES <================ Scouting For Food: We are looking for someone who can chair this important activity this Fall!
