AUSTIN 2016 TELEVISION TALENT BIOS

Commentators/Analysts Brandon Graham Skateboard Play-by-Play Brandon Graham returns to the telecast team as play-by-play commentator for all skateboard events at X Games Austin 2016.

The Bay Area native grew up skating and without any idea that an actual career in this industry would be the result. That changed in 1999, when at 14 years old he witnessed his first X Games at Pier 32 in .

As a college intern at ESPN Radio, Graham was asked to cover the X Games in 2006 on behalf of the station. This content would eventually serve as the basis for Late Night Action, ESPN's first action sports radio show, hosted by Graham. Along the way, he became the host of X Games digital content, including Inside X and the Athlete Chat Series. Graham was then hand-picked by Rob Dyrdek to become the new play-by-play voice of Street League on ESPN2, before tackling the same duties for X Games in 2013, working alongside calling Men’s and Women’s Skateboard Street. In 2014, Graham served as X Games co-host in Aspen and Austin, and remains a part of the telecast team for both events as well as the World of X Games series on ABC.

Brandon received a degree in journalism from California Lutheran University in 2008. He resides in Austin with his wife, Nadia.

Craig McMorris Skateboard Vert, and Skateboard/BMX Doubles Analyst Craig McMorris joined the X Games Aspen telecast team in 2015. He is also a professional snowboarder, member of the Canadian National Team and older brother to five-time X Games gold medalist and Olympic Winter Games bronze medalist Mark McMorris.

A native of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, Craig has competed in elite level events and is known for his outgoing and charismatic personality within the snowboard world. He has starred in his own unscripted television show on MTV Canada with his brother, McMorris & McMorris and got his broadcast break for CBC during the Sochi Winter , where he announced the Snowboard event.

Chris Miller Skateboard Park and Street Analyst Chris Miller is a professional skateboarder, entrepreneur, creative director, product designer and media executive who has had a successful and diverse career in the action sports industry for over 20 years.

Miller has been a professional skateboarder for over 25 years and is still considered one of the best bowl and pool riders of all time. He has enjoyed numerous contest victories, product endorsements, magazine interviews and video parts, and has been featured on the cover of Thrasher magazine four times and Transworld Skateboarding three times during his career as a pro. More recently, he is the nine-time Vans Pool Party Masters Champion. In 2015, Chris was inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame.

Miller resides in Encinitas, California with his wife Lauren, and sons Zach and Lukas.

Jimmy Coleman BMX Play-by-Play TV personality Jimmy Coleman has been participating in and covering action sports events for more than a decade and has made an occupation out of being the “Man on the Mic.” Originally from St. Louis, Coleman is on the road so many months out of the year that he often jokes that he “resides in hotels across America.”

Having hosted numerous action sports events and demonstrations all over the world, Coleman has had the opportunity to watch and work with many of the biggest names in the industry. Coleman joined the X Games broadcast team in 2001 at X Games Six.

For X Games Austin, Coleman will provide play-by-play for the BMX competitions alongside Kevin Robinson.

Kevin Robinson BMX Analyst Driven and passionate in every aspect of his life, Kevin Robinson returns as a BMX analyst for the X Games telecast. A true BMX legend, Robinson has made many contributions to BMX over his career and took his victory lap at X Games 2013, as he retired from a long and storied career at age 41. Over the years, he won a total of 10 medals in BMX Vert and Big Air, four of which are gold.

Robinson resides in East Providence, with his wife Robin and their three children.

Tes Sewell Moto X Play-by-Play Tes Sewell worked his first X Games event in the summer of 1999 as the original sport organizer for Moto X Freestyle in San Francisco. At X Games 2003 in Los Angeles, Sewell expanded his responsibilities to include broadcast analyst. Since that time, he has worked on every X Games in a variety of capacities, including as a Moto X analyst and reporter, Rally Car analyst and Snowmobile analyst and reporter. Sewell will be the play-by-play commentator for the X Games Moto X competitions.

In addition to his many X Games roles, Sewell has been an analyst and host for the ESPN Global series, Red Bull X-Fighters series, TORC Off-road Championship series, PowerSports ATV Tour, PowerSports Snowmobile Tour, Terracross Championships and as a sideline reporter for the LG Action Sports Championships.

A native of Newcastle, England, Sewell now resides in Reno, Nevada with his wife, Gaby.

Cameron Steele Moto X Analyst A familiar and well-respected name in the Moto industry, Cameron Steele is an accomplished motorcycle and competitor, with victories as a Baja 1000 winner, multiple-time Parker 400 and Mint 400 winner and a 2010 short course series champion.

Steele has been a fixture of the X Games telecast team, joining ESPN as an analyst for his first X Games event in 1999, when Moto X Freestyle was first added to the X Games. Since that time, Steele has worked in front of the camera for multiple networks, including ABC, while continuing to compete in a number of different disciplines.

Steele resides in San Clemente, California with his wife, Heidi, and daughter, Cameron Kay.

Toby Moody Harley-Davidson Flat-Track Racing Play-by-Play One of the most recognized faces and voices in racing, Toby Moody has maintained a solid presence in the racing world. With his excitable, quick-fire sports commentary and witty expressions, Moody has served for seven years as a TV reporter for the Paris Dakar Rally. He is in his 17th season as the play-by-play announcer for the MotoGP series on TV and also provides play-by-play for the British Touring Car Championship for ITV Sport. His vast knowledge of motorsports and undying love for his job set him apart and continue to make him a mainstay on the air today.

Moody will provide play-by-play for Harley-Davidson Flat-Track Racing at X Games Austin.

Scottie Deubler Harley-Davidson Flat-Track Analyst Scottie Deubler returns to the X Games telecast team at X Games Austin. Riding motorcycles since the age of five, Deubler is a third generation flat-track racer who raced on the professional circuit for nearly a decade. In 2002, he retired from racing and began his career in announcing for events including Monster Jam (2003-2009) and currently announces for the Toughest Tour and Monster Nation. He has also been the live play-by-play announcer for the AMA Pro Flat Track series since 2009 and is also a co-announcer on FansChoice.TV.

A native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Deubler currently resides in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Reporters: Nicole Briscoe X Games Extra Co-host/ SportsCenter Correspondent From 2008-2014, Briscoe worked in various roles on ESPN’s coverage of NASCAR, including NASCAR Countdown and NASCAR Now. After ESPN’s NASCAR coverage ended in 2014, she was named an anchor for SportsCenter and host for various ESPN studio programs from Bristol, Connecticut, and remote locations.

Prior to ESPN, Nicole worked as a co-host of a motorsports news program on the SPEED Channel; and a sports reporter at the CBS affiliate in Indianapolis covering the , the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers and college basketball.

Originally from Roscoe, Illinois, Nicole currently resides in Connecticut with her husband, IndyCar Series driver Ryan Briscoe, and daughter Finley.

Alyssa Roenigk Skateboard and BMX A seasoned action sports veteran, Roenigk has covered countless X Games, Olympics and action sports events. She first joined ESPN in 2003 as a reporter for ESPN The Magazine and ESPN.com, and in 2008 she was promoted to senior writer. After her X Games telecast debut as a host for the X Games Aspen 2012 X Cast webcasts, Roenigk made the transition to X Center host for X Games Los Angeles 2012. Since then, she has served as a reporter for each X Games telecast and will return to those duties at X Games Austin.

Roenigk is the author of The Big Jump: The Tao of . Originally from Pittsburgh, , Alyssa currently resides in Venice, California.

Lowell Galindo Skateboard Street and BMX Dirt Making his X Games debut at Austin 2016, Galindo was named main anchor for ESPN’s University of Texas-focused channel, , in June 2011. He is the the host of Longhorn Network’s signature shows including Texas GameDay, Texas All-Access, Longhorn Extra and others.

Prior to his position at Longhorn Network, Galindo served as signature anchor for ESPNU, the 24-hour college sports network, from August 2007 through June 2011.

A native of , Texas, Galindo graduated from Emerson College in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Cristy Lee Moto X and Harley-Davidson Flat-Track Racing A TV host, motorsports reporter, arena host, race commentator and live emcee across a broad spectrum of sports, Lee is currently hosting and reporting for the AMA Pro Road Racing series. She has also been the co-host to All Girls Garage, an all-female automotive how-to show on Discovery Channel’s Velocity Network. In addition to her -focused roles, Lee has been the in-arena hostess for the Detroit Red Wings since the 2009 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, with regular appearances on Red Wings TV and NHL Online, and has also hosted and announced for BMX, wakeboard, snowboard and skateboarding competitions in the midwest.

From Daytona Beach, Florida, Cristy is a graduate of Daytona State College and has called Michigan home since 2005. Her passion for all motorsports goes beyond the screen, specifically motorcycle road racing – being a road racer herself.

Victoria Arlen Features Reporter / Women’s Skateboard Park After making her X Games debut in Aspen in 2016, Arlen joins X Games Austin as the Features and Women’s Skateboard Park reporter. She made the transition from professional athlete to reporter in May 2015 at 20 years old when she joined ESPN as the features venue reporter at the Special Olympic in Los Angeles.

In 2006, Arlen’s life drastically changed at the age of 11, when she developed two rare conditions known as Transverse Myelitis and Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis. The conditions caused her to quickly lose the ability to speak, eat, walk and move. Though doctors believed there was little hope of survival and recovery, Arlen defeated the odds after almost four years of being in a vegetative state and began the near-impossible fight back to relearn everyday tasks and functions.

Despite facing the devastating reality of paralysis from the waist down due to damage to her spine, she has since become an accomplished motivational speaker, actress, model and competitive swimmer with three silvers and a gold medal from the London 2012 . She has also broken multiple world, American and Pan American records.

In addition to her duties with the X Games and Special Olympic World Games, Arlen is also involved with espnW and SportsCenter.

Vanessa Marshall X Games Voice Vanessa Marshall was the voice behind the X Games telecast from 2011-2013 and rejoined the team in 2015.

She is also currently the voice of ABC Family and has also done promos for CBS, HGTV and MTV. As a stand-up comic and former “plus-size” model, Marshall also created a one-woman show "Got Phat?," which had a successful run in both Los Angeles and New York City.

A graduate of Princeton University with a Masters in acting from NYU, Marshall’s resumé includes key roles as: Hera in : Rebels, in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Mary Jane in The Spectacular Spider-Man, in : Flashpoint Paradox, in : Brave and the Bold, in , Black Widow in Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. In the world of games, she has voiced Olga in “ Solid 2,” H.Q. in “Socom II” and Jan Ors in “Star Wars: Jedi Knights II.”

In her free time, she is usually at the gym, boxing or attending a football, hockey or soccer game. Her other passion is giving back: she volunteers for Step Up Women’s Network, an organization inspiring professional women to become mentors to inspire young girls.
