It’s an honor to see Turnstone as the host site for the 2018 Adaptive Sports USA Junior Nationals. Fort Wayne is a perfect fit for your event, and we’re eager to host you with our nationally-recognized Hoosier Hospitality. Hosting the largest annual multi-sport event for youth with a physical disability or visual impairment demonstrates Fort Wayne’s willingness and commitment to being a welcoming and giving community. Fort Wayne has become a national and international leader in adaptive sports excellence. We’re fortunate to have Turnstone in our community. They’re a nationally-recognized leader in making a positive and meaningful difference. Turnstone is proud to celebrate its 75th year of service to our community. Since 1943, Turnstone has been a pillar of support for people with disabilities, advocating on their behalf and empowering their independence. Thanks to generous support, compassionate staff, and a legacy of courageous innovation, Turnstone will continue to provide comprehensive services and programs helping individuals achieve their highest potential and aspiring to a world that accepts and values people based on their abilities. In the spirit of empowerment, Turnstone is proud to provide a quality competition experience for all participating athletes and families. We hope you enjoy the Turnstone facility and all of the amenities it has to offer including multiple large accessible bathrooms, showers, a full service concession area, plenty of seating and viewing space in the fieldhouse, and upstairs on the mezzanine level. July 20, 2018 To the attendees of the Adaptive Sports USA 2018 Junior Nationals: On behalf of the Board of Directors of Adaptive Sports USA, I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 2018 Junior Nationals in the beautiful state of Indiana. Congratulations to each of you for setting your goals, working hard and meeting the qualifying standards to compete in this pinnacle of competition for young athletes with unique abilities. This year marks the 35th continuous year of Junior Nationals, making it the oldest and largest continuously held competition for youngsters with a disability in North America. Adaptive Sports USA is dedicated to continuing the ongoing legacy of providing quality competitive opportunities for our young athletes.
