Transportable Stake The FXMP2X15 is a portable 2-30 MHz base station antenna that includes nine sections of radiator that are hand tightened together, a ground radial kit and two guying assemblies.

The larger diameter radiator and two guying assemblies provide a much improved steadying of the assembly to movements in the wind. This greatly enhances tuner stability and reduces/eliminates tuner variations of automatic tuners (i.e. “Tuner Hunting”).

Broadband Base Station Antenna Construction Details: The antenna consists of an aluminum coaxial dipole covered by glass epoxy.

Within each semi-dipole there is a coaxial line shorted at the end. The coaxial line of the upper semi-dipoles produce an appropriate impedance to provide broadband operation of the entire antenna. The coaxial line of the lower semi-dipoles generate high impedance which attenuates to negligible values the currents that inevitably flow within the support pole.

These supports further provide a balancing that ensures that the characteristics of impedance of the two coaxial lines remain effectively constant even in the presence of shack, vibration, etc.

Installation: An optional mounting bracket is available with a mounting flange of 4.5 in. (114.3 mm) equipped with protection for the connector against the elements.

Series II Diplexer The Series II Diplexer is part of our Series II Communications Platform, but can be used separately to isolate a 20-88 MHz (low band) antenna from a 113-512 MHz (high band) antenna. It can also be used to feed two antenna outputs into a single radio input.

The Series II Diplexer adds very little loss (less than 1/4 dB at most frequencies) while providing excellent isolation (as much as 60 dB)
