Hal Melton, [email protected] FINAL MISSION TO SANTA ELENA, BELIZE! So many TBC members have partnered with God and the congregation of Santa Elena Baptist Church to construct the Santa Elena Baptist Primary School. The school is wide-open with over 130 students and just had its first Graduation in June (13 students!). Pastor Manny has asked for assistance in building the walls of the two classrooms on the second floor of the preschool building. He already has funds for building materials. He needs willing hearts and hands. These two rooms will be tiled and air conditioned for use as school principal’s office and computer lab. It will take two weeks to accomplish this mission. Some will be able to stay for two weeks – others will choose only one. The dates are January 3-19. We will stay at the Aguada Hotel within walking distance of the school. We will have free days built in on Caye Caulker as usual. Cost for one week (air fare, ground transportation, lodging,

most meals, ice/water, water taxi, insurance and t-shirt) will be around $1,475. Cost for two weeks will be around $2,200 (yet to be calculated). Sign Up Sheets will be on the Sign-Up Board in the

Narthex next Sunday. SPACE IS LIMITED – so do not wait!! After this mission, our overseas emphasis will most likely turn to Disaster Relief in Puerto Rico. p Marriage Enrichment Group Information Sessions Sundays, September 16, 23 & 30 • 6pm • C102 in New Building Marriage is a sacred relationship entered into with the highest of hopes and dreams. But the early “sky rocket/infatuation” type love only carries us so far. Then come the life issues that require a higher level of love and commitment to the relationship for those initial hopes and dreams to stay alive. Marriage Enrichment is TBC’s way of offering couples of all ages the opportunity to learn about / experience communication and intimacy skills that truly will be a huge asset as life goes on. We like to say that M.E. helps turn “stumbling blocks” into “stepping stones”. MEGs are 6-8 couples who meet once a month in homes to invest an evening in growing their marriage. A Leader Couple facilitates. You are invited to hear a LOT more about how these monthly gatherings have touched the lives of many in our congregation, and continue to do so. On 3 Sunday nights in September, different couples currently involved in MEGs will share their experiences, give testimony to the value of participation, and answer any questions that you may have. Then on FRIDAY EVENING, OCT. 12, we will begin a new “Starter MEG” that will meet 8 evenings through May. Ongoing MEGs (those who have completed the “starter MEG” and want to continue together) will begin their gatherings in October as well. Questions? Join us at one or more of the 3 Sunday evening gatherings in September. You’ll be glad you did!! - Hal & Roberta Melton Music Notes

Here is what Stacie had to say about her family’s love of Trinity: Trinity has been a true life line for our family, especially our children. They truly love to go to Church and miss it when we are out of town. There are many people in our Church that have been true role models to Katie and Zach and have been a huge part of their growth in their Christian faith. David and I find peace in knowing that we always have Christian friends that are always there to support us. Katie and Zach love attending Church. The Church activities vary and always provide a great worshipping experience for them. Activities are fun and meaningful. They are able to build Christian, faith based friendships that will last a lifetime as well as build bonds with other Christian adults that they can also turn to in a time of need.
