The Antoine Cason Day Camp offers some of the best, most intense football training available with an outstanding high school coaching staff and Antoine Cason. Specialty Clinic This clinic is designed to give each student athlete an opportunity to receive concentrated technique training prior to the start of the football camp. It also offers players an opportunity to develop their skills and learn the fundamental techniques for their respective position. The clinic is held the first day of camp from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Lunch is included. Antoine Cason Football Camp July 6 – 9, 2011 • San Diego State University in San Diego, CA Antoine Cason Career Highlights • In his senior season, he was awarded the Jim Thorpe Award for best defensive back in the country and was a consensus First-team All-America choice. • He was a starter for the Arizona Wildcats from his freshman year in 2004 until his senior season in 2007, where he finished his collegiate career with 15 INT, fourth-most in school history. • Hailed as one of the best defensive backs in the Pac-10, Cason was selected 27th by the San Diego Chargers in the 2008 NFL Draft. • His first NFL interception came on September 14, 2008, against the Denver Broncos, picking off Jay Cutler in the end zone. His second NFL interception was a 59 yard pick of Tampa Bay’s Jeff Garcia for his first career NFL touchdown. He ended his rookie season with 74 tackles (59 solo) and two interceptions. • In 2010, he had 67 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and led the Chargers with 4 interceptions.
