President Donald Trump will head to Las Vegas later today to visit the scene of the worst mass murder in US history. The president will meet with officials, first responders and some of the wounded during his 4 hour visit.

Marilou Danley, the girlfriend of the gunman who shot and killed 59 people at a country music concert in Las Vegas, returned Tuesday night to the United States from the , according to multiple law enforcement sources.

Danley was met by federal agents at Los Angeles International Airport, said the officials, who were not authorized to discuss the case publicly.

It took about 10 minutes of gunfire for Stephen Paddock to carry out the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history.

Las Vegas is still reeling after tragedy on the Strip.

Parts of South Las Vegas Boulevard could be shut down for days after a mass shooting at Route 91 music festival left at least 59 dead and 525 wounded. The shooter, Stephen Paddock, had 23 guns in his Mandalay Bay hotel room on the 32nd floor. Authorities found 19 additional firearms in his Mesquite home. Paddock shot and killed himself as police entered his hotel room.

Police have identified Stephen Paddock as the gunman who opened fire on concertgoers from a hotel room in Las Vegas, killing at least 58 people and leaving more than 500 wounded in the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.

Paddock, 64, began shooting from two windows on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino just after 10 p.m. local time Sunday evening, police said. A SWAT team found Paddock dead in his hotel room and officials believe he killed himself.
