Live102 Get in the mood for summer with A Lobster Dinner To Go for Ten (complete with sides) by Fjord Fish Market and A Case of Carefully Selected Fine Wines chosen and donated by Ari and Jen Perkins.

To Start: 4 Bottles of Ombra Rose. Winemaker Notes: “Delicate pale pink in color, this wine has a very fine and continuous taste. The pronounced bouquet is persistent and fine, and offers a wide range of fruit aromas like peaches, apricots and red currants.”

Main Course: 4 Bottles of Flowers Chardonnay, 2014 Sonoma Coast. Winemaker Notes: “Light straw hue. Expressive aromas of citrus zest and lime-blossom are highlighted by honeysuckle and wet flint. The palate is heightened by a compelling, site-specific coastal minerality, textural salinity, and precise acidity that carry brilliantly through the finish.”

To Finish: 4 Bottles of La Selve, 2015 Viognier Winemaker Notes: “A nearly golden yellow- green, the Chateau de La Selve “St. Regis” Vins de Pays des Coteaux de l’Ardeche 2015 offers classic Viognier notes of peaches and apricots, and on the palate delivers these bright, slightly sappy citrus qualities along with hints of wild flowers, plus that crème fraiche texture that makes Viognier so unique; the wine’s rich fruit and natural spice enable it to hold its own against Thai and Indian curries, as long as they’re not too spicy."

Rules for the Auction Silent Auction will begin at 7:00 pm and close at 8:50 pm Live Auction will begin at 9:00 pm

Each silent item has a bid sheet with a description, its value, the minimum opening bid and the minimum bid increments. Items will be sold to the highest bidder.

To Bid at the Silent Auction: CLEARLY print your name and the Bid # that you will receive at check-in on the bid sheet. The opening bid must meet the minimum amount specified. All subsequent bids must exceed the previous bid by the minimum increment listed on the bid sheet.

To Win the Silent Auction: The last, highest bid at the close of the auction is the winner. Your winning bid must be made in the appropriate bid increment; otherwise your bid will be disqualified and the next highest bidder will be declared the winner. Remember: It is OK to spend more than the listed merchandise value! Encouraged, even.

The Silent Auction Committee has made every attempt to describe items accurately. Items are sold “as is” with noted restrictions and without warranty or representation of any kind as to the correctness of description, authenticity or condition. All written bids are binding and all sales are final. All items have been donated to and then auctioned by the Chatsworth Avenue PTA and not the donor. Purchasers may not ask for refunds or exchanges from any donor. It is the responsibility of the successful bidder to contact the donor to make arrangements for delivery of goods and services (i.e. a mutually convenient time and date). Unless otherwise specified, all items purchased representing goods and services to be provided by third party donors must be redeemed no later than December 31, 2017. Federal Tax Law states that the portion of your auction bid that exceeds the value of the item is the only tax-deductible part of your contribution.

34
