NEW USER INSTRUCTIONS
If you do not yet have a Guildwork account (free to sign up, only asks for email address) please follow the below step by step to get registered and link your character to your profile. If you do already have a Guildwork account, you may use the Apply here link under New Users, to apply for the FC website.
To begin in the upper right corner you will see Login and Register buttons. Click the Register button.
The site will then change to give you the below Registration boxes. Please note this is to register with Guildwork, not with Eternal Strife webpage. Put in your Email, Display Name, Username, and choose a Password. Then click the register button.
After you are logged into Guildwork, click on your name at the top right and highlight and click Dashboard.
Below is your main dashboard. At the top you will see 6 tab links, click on the Characters tab to add your character to your profile.
Next Click the Add Character to Guildwork button to begin.
Use the dropdown list of servers to select the server and Type in your full name as it is seen on Lodestone website and in game.
Select your server (Midgardsormr) under Final Fantasy XIV. [Be aware that the servers from Final Fantasy XI are listed first and also have a server selection for Midgardsormr. See below screenshot] Type your character name and select Proceed.
You should be directed to the guildwork instruction page. These instructions explain how to go to the Loadstone and edit your profile to link it to this website. Follow these instructions to a tee. Pay close attention to instruction #6 because you will need to copy the long number highlighted in yellow in the block within the Edit Character Profile screen then click Confirm then the Post button but wait you have one more step…. Recommended that you right click the link in step 1 and open it in a new tab or window, due to you needing the information lower on that page.
Yellow highlighted string of letters and numbers is needed for the lodestone page.
Go back to the guildwork instruction page and click the Finish button at the bottom of the page and you are done.
To verify your character has been successfully linked to the website, go back to Characters tab, your character should now be displayed under My Characters. If you have multiple characters, they can also be linked by repeating the steps above. Beware – it can take a little time for the servers to sync up. So if nothing shows up right away give it an hour or so, and check again. Possible that it will take overnight to sync, depending on the Guildwork servers.
