    Character actor Geoffrey Lewis dies at 79 Posted by TBN_News On 04/08/2015 (July 31, 1935 – April 7, 2015) Geoffrey Lewis was an American character actor. Lewis was known for his film roles alongside Robert Redford and Clint Eastwood Lewis's filmography includes television shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent and My Name is Earl, as well as films such as Down in the Valley, The Butcher, Maverick, and When Every Day Was the Fourth of July. In 1979, he appeared in Salem's Lot. He later played opposite Polly Holliday in the Alice spin-off Flo (1980-81). Lewis worked frequently with actor-director Clint Eastwood in several films including Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Pink Cadillac, Any Which Way You Can, Bronco Billy, Every Which Way but Loose, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot and High Plains Drifter. Lewis was a Scientologist. In 2005, he was quoted on the official church website: "The wins that I've had with Scientology coincide directly with the rise in my career. It's hard to pick out any one specific piece of tech, suffice it to say that I as an artist was surrounded with nonsurvival considerations, actions and valences - all of my own making. Through my use of Scientology technology I have eradicated most of these things and continue to eradicate them, giving me more freedom and intention to create into the future. And, by the by, a great deal more altitude, a more inclusive point from which to view life - past, present and future..." On April 7, 2015, Lewis died of natural causes in his home in Woodland Hills.

    CAST BIOS RICHARD THOMAS (Bob) – Richard Thomas was born in New York City. Performing was in his genes – both of his parents were dancers with the New York City Ballet and were owners of the New York School of Ballet. Even as a child, Thomas had a Broadway show under his belt, as well as several appearances on television. But he catapulted to fame when he was cast as aspiring writer John-Boy in the long-running drama series “The Waltons,” a role that earned him an Emmy® Award. Among Thomas’ other television credits are the miniseries “Glory! Glory!,” and the TV movies “The Red Badge of Courage,” “Roots: The Next Generations,” “All Quiet on the Western Front,” “Johnny Belinda,” Stephen King’s “It,” “Yes Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus,” “Crash Landing: The Rescue of Flight 232,” “Death in Small Doses,” “What Love Sees” and the upcoming “Nightmares and Dreamscapes – From the stories of Stephen King.” He had the title role in “Living Proof: The Hank Williams Jr. Story,” which he also co-produced. Thomas appeared on stage in New York in the world premier of Steven Tesich’s Square One and earned a rave review from The New York Times for his performance in the Shakespeare Theatre’s production of Richard II.
