With the exception of Volvo C30, there are relatively few feature and specification changes, but there are significant reductions of CO 2 for diesel manual powertrains on S60, V60, S80 and V70. • Please contact your supplying Volvo dealer or Volvo account manager should you have any queries. • Volvo dealers are now accepting orders for MY13 products. 2. REGISTERED IN ENGLAND & WALES No 02281044 INFORMATION PRODUCT NEWS • Typically, the following price increases are applied to C30; – ES +£250 – SE +£250 – SE Lux +£750 – R-Design +£500 This represents outstanding value for money once specification enhancements have been taken into account. • A new variant, the R-Design Lux is introduced to capitalise on the success of the current R-Design model. Combining the feature content of the MY12 Convenience Pack with satellite navigation, the R-Design Lux is priced just £1,800 above the regular R-Design variants. • The DRIVe nomenclature is replaced with D2. • The D2 115hp Start/Stop ES, SE and SE Lux variants benefit from a reduction in CO 2 to just 94g/km. The D2 R-Design (without Start/Stop) remains at 114g/km. 3. VOLVO XC60 MY13 • There are very few changes to Volvo XC60 this model year. • Due to low sales mix, the ES variant is dropped, and a new R-Design Lux is introduced. SE Lux variants account for around 40% of sales mix, followed by R- Design at 30%. The R-Design Lux variant will cater for the proportion of customers that wish to combine R-Design features with added luxury. In addition, Nav variants are introduced to leverage the RV uplift available for satellite navigation systems. • Due to changes being implemented on other carlines, the D3 163hp is repositioned as the D4 163hp. • There are a number of minor feature changes; – Silver roof rails standard on R-Design – R-Design headlining is now Off Black – Tempa spare wheel introduced as a chargeable option – Power folding headrests added as standard to SE Lux – Barents Blue is deleted – Rebel Blue introduced as new R-Design colour Rebel Blue (619) sample • Price changes are relatively modest and typically <1%; – SE increases by £240 – SE Lux increases by £340 – R-Design increases by £275 Volvo Car UK Limited. REGISTERED IN ENGLAND & WALES No 02281044 INFORMATION PRODUCT NEWS – R-Design Lux introduced with £2,500 premium – Nav variants just £1,200 above equivalent standard model – There are a number of option price changes (some up, some down) which have been adjusted following a review of selected competitors 4. VOLVO S60/V60 MY13 • The key changes for S60 and V60 models concern the introduction of the new D3 136hp powertrain as well as significant improvements to CO 2 levels on the D4 163hp and D5 215hp powertrains. This new introduction means that the MY12 D3 163hp is repositioned as a D4 163hp. • As with the Volvo XC60, an R-Design Lux variant is introduced along with Nav variants. R-Design accounts for around 35% sales mix with SE Lux at 25%. • There are a number of minor feature changes; – Njord replace Balder as the standard SE alloy wheel – Power folding headrests are added to SE Lux models – Electrum Gold is deleted – Rebel Blue introduced as new R-Design colour • The introduction of the new D3 136hp powertrain means that we have one of the strongest diesel offers available in the segment; CO 2 figures (man) S60 V60 D2 115hp 114g/km 119g/km D3 136hp 114g/km 119g/km D4 163hp 114g/km 119g/km D5 215hp 119g/km 120g/km • Price changes are kept to a minimum, although the ‘new’ D4 163hp has been repositioned; – D2 115hp and D5 215hp ES and SE models have no price change – D3 136hp is introduced at just £650 above the D2 – D4 163hp is positioned £1,000 above the D3 (increase of £650) – All petrol models increase by around £250 – In addition to above, SE Lux models increase by another £250, and R- design by around £100 – The R-Design Lux is priced £2,500 above standard R-Design – Nav models are introduced at £1,500 (ES/R-Design) and £1,200 (SE/Lux) which represents a saving vs. MY12 single options – Option prices have also been reviewed and amended – V60 is priced at £1,200 above the equivalent S60 variant 5. VOLVO C70 MY13 • There are very few changes for Volvo C70. • Due to low sales volume, ES and Inscription variants are deleted. • In line with other models, Nav variants are introduced. • Feature changes; – Tempa Spare Wheel is introduced as a chargeable option – Windblocker is removed from Solstice specification (remains available as an accessory) • Pricing – SE increases by around £500 – SE Lux increases by approx. £750 – Solstice by around £1,000 Volvo Car UK Limited. VOLVO S80/V70 MY13 • The key changes for S80 and V70 models concern the introduction of the new D3 136hp powertrain as well as significant improvements to CO 2 levels on the D4 163hp and D5 215hp powertrains. • Nav variants are also introduced. • Due to low take rates, the S80 ES is removed and T4 and T5 engines are no longer offered. • There are a number of minor feature changes; – new high gloss black finish grill for V70 – Saga alloys updated with black inserts – Rain Sensor now comes with Tunnel Detection – Twilight Bronze introduced – Oyster Grey and Titanium Grey deleted – Magic Blue deleted on V70 – Rebel Blue introduced as new V70 R-Design colour • The introduction of the new D3 136hp powertrain means that we have one of the strongest diesel offers available in the segment; CO 2 S80 V70 D2 115hp 119g/km 119g/km D3 136hp 114g/km 119g/km D4 163hp 114g/km 119g/km D5 215hp 120g/km 126g/km • Taking into account sales rates, and the fact that the D2 115hp manual and automatic transmissions have the same CO 2 levels, it has been decided to delete the D2 115hp, and position the D2 115hp Powershift at the same price as the manual D3 136hp powertrain. • Price changes are kept to a minimum, although the ‘new’ D4 163hp has been repositioned to make room for the D3 136hp offer; – D2 115hp is increased by £190 (and only available as Powershift) – D3 136hp introduced at the same level as the D2 115hp Powershift – D4 163hp is positioned £1,250 above the D3 – D5 215hp increases by around £350 – Nav models are introduced at £1,200 (SE) and £1,500 (R-Design) – Option prices have also been reviewed and amended – V70 is priced at £850 above the equivalent S80 variant • There are a number of changes to options and packs; – Tempa Spare Wheel is introduced as a chargeable option – 18" Fortuna Alloy wheels are no longer available – Leather-faced upholstery with dynamic seats is no longer available – New 18" Izar Forged alloy (in either light grey or silver bright) – BLIS/Family Pack offer has been removed – Driver Alert now comes with Active High Beam and Road Sign Information Display • Following sales analysis, several trims/inlays have been deleted from MY13; – Cross Aluminium – Modern Wood – Inscription Sanded Silver Aluminium – Inscription Milled Amber Volvo Car UK Limited. VOLVO XC70 MY13 • There are very few changes for Volvo XC70. • Due to low sales volume, ES variants are deleted. • SE Nav variants are introduced at £1,200 above SE • Feature changes; – Tempa Spare Wheel is introduced as a chargeable option – Rain Sensor now comes with Tunnel Detection – Driver Alert now comes with Active High Beam and Road Sign Information Display – Oyster Grey metallic is deleted – New 18” Merac Black alloy wheel option • All XC70 models maintain the previous pricing relationship with the equivalent V70 variant (taking into account AWD and alloy wheel differences). Note that the entry price for the XC70 model increases significantly but this is due to the combined effect of the ES deletion as well as the increase on D4 163hp on V70. 8. VOLVO XC90 MY13 • The only feature changes for MY13 occur on Executive models which gain the following; – 19" Galateia Alloy Wheels (Diamond Cut Titanium) – Speed Dependent Steering System • Tempa Spare Wheel is introduced as a chargeable option on all variants.
