No. 9 Loyola Maryland travels to No. 1 Navy for a noon meeting. No. 2 Colgate hosts the defending League champion No. 7 Boston University, in a rematch of the 2020 men’s basketball championship game, at 1 p.m. No. 3 Lafayette welcomes No. 6 Bucknell at 2 p.m. and No. 4 Army West Point plays host to No. 5 American at 3 p.m. Spectators will not be permitted at any of the host sites through the entirety of the 2021 PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Men’s Basketball Championship. BURNS, DECHELLIS, CALDWELL AND O’NEIL COLLECT PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN’S BASKETBALL MAJOR AWARDS Colgate senior guard Jordan Burns collected 2020-21 Patriot League Men’s Basketball Player of the Year presented by Pen- Fed Credit Union when postseason major awards and All-League honors were announced by the League office. Burns led the Raiders to an 11-1 record, a North Division title and the No. 2 seed in the League Championship. Navy Head Coach Ed DeChellis guided the Mids to the South Division title and their first No. 1 seed in the Patriot League Championship since the 1996-97 season to earn Patriot League Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year honors for the first time.
