Founders' Day Held at Paf College, Sargodha FOUNDERS’ DAY HELD AT PAF COLLEGE, SARGODHA ISLAMABAD: 11 FEBRUARY, 2017:- Founders’ Day was held at PAF College, Sargodha today. Air Marshal Asad Lodhi, Vice Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, who is a Sargodhian himself, was the Chief Guest at the occasion. While addressing the young students the Chief Guest said, “Pakistan Air Force trusts you to become the stalwarts of tomorrow, ready to shoulder the sacred responsibility of defending the aerial frontier of the motherland and at the same time being spirited patriots, contributing positively in nation building. We are living in difficult times and have to be aware of our enemies who are on the lookout for any weakness. The only answer to their evil designs is that we should not lack in particulars spheres of responsibility”. Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Qasim Masood Khan, Principal PAF College Sargodha presented the annual report. The Chief Guest gave away prizes to the winning houses and individuals. The Academic Colour for overall excellence in academics was shared by Mohammas Ahsan, Mohammad Tufail and Danyal Butt. M Talha Mazhar was declared the best athlete of the Year. Chigwell shield for sports was awarded to Alauddin House. General Service Training Cup for co-curricular activities was won by Munir House, while Chief of Air Staff trophy for academics was won by Safi House. Safi House lifted the coveted Quaid-e-Azam shield for being overall Champion House of the Year. The students of the college presented an impressive Gymnastics and Martial Art display and a well-synchronized P.T show. The College also put up an attractive Aero modeling Display in which young boys manoeuvred radio-controlled aircraft models in the air. A large number of serving and retired defence personnel, retired teachers, senior bureaucrats and parents of the students were present on the occasion. .

Child Welfare Centre is progressing towards provide excellent facilities of diagnosis test, parents counseling, behaviour therapy as well as rehabilitation and education of children with special needs to make them a self sustained citizen to the society .Child Welfare Centre is venturing to excel in providing quality education to children with special needs. Now CWC is extending rehabilitation facilities for all major disabilities viz Mental Retardation, Physical Handicapped, Hearing Impairment, Visual impairment & Autism. Physio Therapy: In the Child Welfare Centre we use multi disciplinary approaches, where skills & care join together. This approach incorporates medicine, physiotherapy, occupational & vocational therapy as well as speech & swallowing therapy. In physiotherapy department every new child is assessed by qualified physiotherapist carefully.

Fauji Foundation awards educational stipends as assistance to ex-service personnel and their dependents (herein after referred to as beneficiaries) for the pursuit of education and training within Pakistan only. b. Beneficiaries. The Term “Beneficiaries” includes following for the grant of educational stipend: - (1) Released, retired and discharged personnel of the Regular Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force, Northern Light Infantry, Defence Services Guards and 10 Corps Mujahids) citizens of Pakistan, AJ&K & Northern Areas who served in Armed Forces for minimum 10 Years, up to the rank of Colonel (including deceased Brig). (2) Wives and widows (unless remarried) of 1b (1) above. (3) Sons and unmarried/divorced daughters of 1b (1) above. c. The condition of minimum 10 year service will be applicable to all ex-servicemen/women irrespective of their date of retirement.
