If anything this is a bit of a philosophy book posing as a how-to book, hiding behind soft porn. The cover is more erotic then the text, so if this is your thing, well... you might still like it. Spoiler Alert: The book is, or would lead you to believe, just a series of backgrounds about people who practice self bondage. They supposedly answered a questionnaire and the author compiled the results. The individuals' insights into life, plain vs kink, their lives, how the world really works and so on is fairly deep and thoughtful if not really erotic or focused.So, 3 stars for okay. Not sure if this helps anyone decide to read this, but that is what this is/was for me. More power to anyone who can love or hate this book.
