We’ve published Isaac Newton, through to G.H. Hardy and J.E. Littlewood, and the modern era with Fields medallists such as Kunihiko Kodaira, Enrico Bombieri, Michael Atiyah, Shigefumi Mori and Terry Tao. Today our journal publishing includes some 19 titles covering pure mathematics, many of which we publish on behalf of learned societies or institutions. Cambridge has built substantial expertise in the publishing of mathematics, and the particular characteristics of the subject that any publishing strategy must address. We understand how mathematics is communicated, whether the audience is made up of students, researchers, or educators. In a rapidly changing world we’re also committed to innovation, establishing the Forum of Mathematics, Pi and Sigma as the premier gold open access journals in mathematics. From 2019, Cambridge publishes two journals on behalf of the Canadian Mathematical Society, notably, the Canadian Journal of Mathematics and Canadian Mathematical Bulletin.
