Alaska is reliant on oil and coal for much of the generation in towns and across the state. The entire state is a small to medium sized utility in other states, and so has many issues with economies of scale. As the Chair of the Special Committee on Energy, Representative Hopkins works on delivering an ERO to our utility ratepayers in coordination with utilities and communities. COLORADO REPRESENTATIVE DOMINIQUE JACKSON Representative Dominique Jackson was elected to represent House District 42 in Aurora, Colorado in November of 2016. Representative Jackson currently serves as Chair of the Energy & Environment Committee. She is also a member of the Health & Health Insurance Committee and the Legislative Council Committee. She has also been appointed to serve on the Executive Committee of “The Energy Council,”
