Quay Property Management Corp., parent company of The Shipyards Development Ltd., is a locally owned company with more than 35 years of international experience in property development, management and programming. The Company’s diverse history has a strong foundation based on leisure and entertainment properties, tourist destinations, and placemaking. Locally, Quay Property Management is also the parent company of Lonsdale Quay Market, located to the west of The Shipyards, and operates the Pipe Shop Venue at The Shipyards.

ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN

Norm Hotson and the team at DIALOG have developed the architectural, structural and sustainability design for The Shipyards. Norm is the architect behind several other high profile waterfront developments, including and Lonsdale Quay Market.

Hapa Collaborative has designed the public realm component of the project including the water park, ice rink, the Spirit Trail connection, site furnishings and all landscape architecture. Hapa has recently completed work on the Foot of Lonsdale project with the City of North Vancouver.
