Getting to Bore Place Bore Place is situated in the Kent countryside, south west of Sevenoaks, near Bough Beech reservoir. The nearest B-road is the B2027 between Tonbridge and Edenbridge. The nearest mainline railway stations are Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Edenbridge. London Gatwick is our nearest airport. By road from the M25 1. Leave the M25 at junction 5 (NB you need to be in the centre lane of the M25 to exit at junction 5) 2. Join the A21 southbound to Sevenoaks (signposted Sevenoaks, Hastings, A21) 3. Leave A21 at exit signposted for Sevenoaks A225/Hildenborough B245/Sevenoaks Weald. Take second exit onto B245 southbound towards Hildenborough and Tonbridge. 4. Continue onto B245 for one to two miles, then turn right (road signposted for Leigh/Penshurst/Chiddingstone) 5. Continue straight on until you reach a T junction, then turn right onto the B2027 signposted for Edenbridge. 6. Continue straight along B2027, through Leigh and Chiddingstone Causeway. 7. After the village shop/Post Office at Chiddingstone Causeway, take the third turning on the right. It is signposted ‘Bore Place’ and ‘Bough Beech Centre’. 8. You are now one mile from Bore Place. Travel along the avenue of trees. At the first junction, the road narrows. Go straight on. 9. Take the first turning left into our drive, signposted ‘Bore Place only’. Continue along the drive, over the cattle grids until you reach the car park. By road from the M26 Please note that if travelling west on the M26, you cannot exit onto the A21 to Sevenoaks. Leave the M26 at junction 2a and go through Borough Green, Seal and Sevenoaks to join the B245. By road from the M20 If travelling west on the M20, exit at junction 4 to West Malling/Hadlow/Tonbridge. Turn right to Hildenborough just before Tonbridge. Go straight on over one small roundabout. Turn right onto the B245 at a T junction. Turn left onto the B2027 after approx. one mile. Please note: our postal address is Chiddingstone, but our nearest village is Chiddingstone Causeway. By rail from London • A frequent service runs from London Charing Cross, Waterloo East and London Bridge to Sevenoaks station. Travel time 30-35 minutes from Charing Cross. • There is a less frequent service from London Victoria: change at Bromley South for Sevenoaks. • Taxis are available from Sevenoaks station forecourt to Bore Place.
