Mesi demikan, Kevin/Marcus mengaku tidak mau terbebani dengan ambisi tersebut, apalagi perjalanan menuju perebutan medali masih panjang. “Kami ingin memenangi medali emas, tetapi pertandingan masih panjang. Kami tidak ingin menambah tekanan itu,” kata Marcus, usai memenangi laga kedua penyisihan grup melawan pasangan India Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/ Chirag Shetty, dikutip laman BWF. Kevin/Marcus telah memastikan satu tempat di perempat final seusai menyingkirkan Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty dalam laga kedua fase penyisihan Grup A Olimpiade Tokyo. Pasangan peringkat satu dunia itu menang dalam dua gim langsung 21-13, 21-12 dalam pertandingan selama 32 menit. Meski sudah dipastikan lolos ke perempat final, Kevin/Marcus masih mempunyai satu pertandingan terakhir fase penyisihan menghadapi pasangan asal Taiwan, Lee Yang/Wang Chi-Lin, Selasa (27/7) besok. Marcus menambahkan bahwa status unggulan pertama di Tokyo tidak menjamin mereka bisa terus menang di seluruh pertandingan. Yang terpenting baginya adalah bagaimana dia dan Kevin bisa menikmati setiap pertandingan yang ada di depan mata. “Kami hanya ingin menikmati setiap pertandingan selangkah demi selangkah. El-Bakkali won in 8 minutes, 8.90 seconds on a wet track at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo. He fi n- ished well clear of Lamecha Girma of Ethiopia, who took the silver. Benjamin Kigen claimed a bronze for Kenya after Ethiopia’s Getnet Wale, who was third heading to the fi nal straight, fell. Wale struggled back to his feet and clung on for fourth. The 25-year-old el-Bakkali was fourth at the last Olympics in Rio de Ja- neiro and on the podium at the last two world championships, but this was his fi rst major title. Kenya had won nine straight Olym- pic golds in the 3,000 steeplechase since 1980. Kenya’s Conseslus Kipruto, the leading star of the steeplechase, didn’t defend his Olympic title in Tokyo after failing to make the Kenyan team at the national trials. Sifan Hassan of the Netherlands started her bid to win three medals at the Tokyo Games by earning gold in the 5,000 meters. Hassan pulled away with about 250 meters to go and cruised to the win in a time of 14 min- utes, 36.79 sec- onds.

S1Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga, Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan, Universitas Negeri Surabaya Abstrak Ketika dimana permainan bulutangkis modern yang sekarang menggunakan format perhitungan rally poin, sehingga membuat para pemain dan pelatih sadar bahwa setiap teknik yang ada dalam permainan bulutangkis harus mematikan lawan, dalam permainan bulutangkis smash merupakan salah satu penghasil poin. Jadi didalam permainan bulutangkis setiap pemain memiliki kemampuan yang berbeda dalam melakukan gerakan smash. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut maka pada penelitian ini ingin mengetahui pukulan smash yang paling dominan pada pemain bulutangkis tim musica Champion dipertandingan Djarum Superliga 2017 DBL Arena Surabaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pukulan smash yang paling dominan dan tingkat persentase antara jump smash, smash saat bermain yang dilakukan tim musica champion dipertandingan Djarum Superliga 2017 DBL Arena Surabaya. Sasaran penelitian adalah semua pemain tunggal tim musica champion yang bermain dipertandingan Djarum Superliga 2017 DBL Arena Surabaya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif.
