Carnet de Bad Journal du Comité Départemental de Badminton Rhône – Lyon Métropole 0 Février 2017 | N 170 Carnet de Bad N°170 | Février 2017 Championnats de France Séniors 2017 au Coliseum d’Amiens Delphine Lansac (BACO) Léa Palermo (BACLY) Pensionnaire INSEP Pensionnaire INSEP Médaille d’or en SD Médaille d’Argent en DD Médaille de Bronze en MX • 13 joueurs de la Métropole de Lyon avec leur coach représentant deux clubs, le BACLY et le BACO • Des médailles : une en Or avec Delphine Lansac en SD, une médaille de bronze et une d’arGent pour Léa Palermo respectivement en MX et en DD Le CDBR-LM se réjouit de la motivation de ces joueurs et encadrants à aller participer aux championnats de France senior. La majorité d’entre eux sont des sportifs amateurs, encouragés par leur club. Le comité a plaisir à les voir évoluer dans la plus Grande compétition nationale individuelle et les félicite. Beaucoup de débats se feront autour du niveau de la compétition, et de l’âge à partir duQuel le badiste est considéré comme « vieux » pas encore « vétéran » et encore moins « retraité ». Un point nous mettrait tous d’accord : le badminton est un sport jeune si j’ajoute Qui s’intéresse aux jeunes voire très jeunes, seriez-vous tous d’accord ? Un autre sujet devrait faire débat. Présenter sa candidature pour orGaniser un championnat de France siGnifie répondre à un cahier des charGes Qui est lourd avec une aide fédérale peu circonstanciée. En l’absence de candidature de deux choses l’une, soit la compétition est annulée comme les championnats de France vétérans, soit les exiGences du cahier des charGes sont revues à la baisse. -

BADMINTON NOCs Allocated Quota Places including Universality Places for the MINSK 2019 European Games The European Ranking List of 28 March 2019 Qualification Process: MEN Men’s Single Singles players ranked 1 to 8 – two (2) individual Quota Places to the two (2) highest ranked athletes, respecting the maximum quota allocation per NOC per event. An NOC may have more than two (2) singles players ranked 1 to 8 in the European Ranking List in this event. In such a case, the NOC can enter any two (or one) singles players. Singles players ranked 9 and lower – one (1) individual Quota Places to the one (1) highest ranked athlete. Singles players will be considered in turn and any NOC is eligible to enter one (1) singles player, if the total quota is not exceeded in this event. 25 Countries to Compete at Singapore Badminton Open 2019 As Registration Closed Badminton Powerhouses Indonesia, Korea and Denmark Latest to Announce Entry
PRESS RELEASE 25 countries to compete at Singapore Badminton Open 2019 as registration closed Badminton Powerhouses Indonesia, Korea and Denmark latest to announce entry [Singapore, 27 February 2019] – The 2019 edition of the Singapore Badminton Open is set to be action packed with all the World Number 1 shuttlers confirming their participation for the tournament in April. The final day of registration saw the likes of Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo amongst the latest entries that will be in contention at the Singapore Indoor Stadium from 9-14 April. Part of the HSBC BWF World Tour Series, the Singapore leg boasts a star-studded line-up that would undoubtedly send waves of excitement through the badminton scene. Gideon and Sukamuljo completes the list of World Ranked #1 shuttlers that will compete at the Singapore Open. The Men’s Doubles Asian Games 2018 champions will be part of a 50 strong contingent from Indonesia heading to The Republic. The Indonesian pair will be joined by compatriots Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, ranked #7 in the World and World Ranked #9 Jonatan Christie, also a 2018 Asian Games champion. Ginting and Christie enters what is already a stellar Men’s Singles category, alongside the likes of Kento Momota, Lin Dan, Chen Long and Chou Tien Chen. Representing Denmark in Men’s Singles will be World Ranked #6 Viktor Axelsen, he will be accompanied by fellow countrymen and former European champion Jan O Jorgensen. Amongst their ranks is also Danish starlet, Anders Antonsen, who most recently stunned Momota when he overcame the World Number 1 at the 2019 Indonesia Masters. -
