As of 2-26-2021 FCM Prayer Grid Updates: Please check this list monthly. Updates to this list are made monthly. Abrupt/unforeseen changes that have taken place since the monthly update will appear in the worship service bulletin on Sunday mornings. In addition to our weekly prayer focus we will be praying for specific national, state and local officials during prayer services and throughout the week. Our goal is to pray for every federal state, and local governmental leader, civic leader, and judge by name during the year. As co- laborers of Christ it is our both our privilege and responsibility to do so. The 36th Annual Meeting is set to return as well with an in-person meeting to be held on June 3-5, 2021, at the Hilton Branson Convention Center in the heart of historic downtown Branson and adjacent to the Branson Landing. We hope you are ready for some great times as we meet to see old friends, welcome new members, and listen to some outstanding CLE presentations. The meeting kicks off on Thursday evening with the President’s Welcome Reception at the Hilton Branson Convention Center poolside. Wake up Friday to CLE programming, starting with Jack Bangert of Kutak Rock, LLP, preparing you to ethically and successfully mediate disputes. The conference’s Keynote Speaker will follow and MODL is pleased to welcome James Kane from Philadelphia. His presentation, “The Loyalty Switch,” will help you re-evaluate your professional relationships and develop ways to make others loyal to you, your practice, and your cause. Thereafter, try your hand at forcing that little, white-dimpled ball to be loyal to your team’s scoring needs at the MODL Golf Tournament, played on Friday afternoon nearby at the Branson Hills Golf Club. On Saturday, Randy and Brian walk us through the “Legislative Update” followed by our blended panel of appellate and trial judges who will provide their perspectives and insights from the bench.
