ALL ALUMNI MEET AT BELUR MATH

It is hereby informed to all our members that Math & Mission, Belur Math has decided to organize ‘All India Alumni Meet’ for the ex-students of Mission centres on 28th & 29th December 2019 at Belur Math as a part of the 125th Anniversary Celebrations of ’s Chicago Addresses at World Parliament of Religions. The detailed instructions along with guidelines for registering as delegate (both resident & non- resident) and other formalities are attached herewith.

INFORMATION SHEET ON THE ALL INDIA ALUMNI MEET

DATE OF ALUMNI MEET: 28 & 29 December 2019 VENUE: Belur Math

1) The two day program will consist of lectures on Thakur, Ma and Swamiji by senior monks, Guided Meditation, Group Discussions and sharing of experiences by the alumni. Alumni will also have the opportunity for attending morning and evening aratis and informal interactions with many monks of our order. All the programs will be in English.

2) Ex-students who had passed out of Mission institutions like Schools, Colleges, RKMVERI, Polytechnics, ITI’s, Veda Vidyalaya, Nursing Schools/Colleges, Medical Science Institutes or stayed in our Students’ Homes/Hostels, and Orphanages are eligible to participate in this program.

3) Kindly see that mature individuals having allegiance towards ideals and activities and also enjoys reasonably good health are registered as delegates. They should be more than 25 years of age as on 1 December 2019.

4) The ex-students may attend the Meet as residential or non-residential delegates.

5) The traveling expenditure and other incidental expenses have to be borne by the alumni.

6) The delegates, both residential and non-residential, can bring their immediate family members (maximum two members) for the two day program as Guests. However, they have to make their own arrangements for their accommodations. The Guests can witness the programs and lunch will be provided to them on both the days.

7) The accommodation for the residential delegates will be arranged at the student hostels at our Vidyamandira. It will be of dormitory type with common washrooms and mostly Indian style toilets. Warm water will be available for bathing.

8) The residential delegates should report at their allotted place of accommodation in any one of our centres mentioned above (to be intimated later) on Friday 27 December, 2019 before 6 pm and leave by 1 pm on Monday, 30 December, 2019. It would not be possible for us to provide accommodation beyond this stated period on either side of 27 and 29th December, 2019.

9) The registrations will be done by the respective centres and the attached document shows how it is to be done.

10) The participation fees are as follows: a) Residential Delegates - Rs. 500 b) Non-residential Delegates – Rs.300 c) Guests – Rs.200

11) You are requested to fill up the form and send to us on or before 15 August 2019, positively.

12) The detailed program, transportation and accommodation details will be shared with the centres and the alumni in due course of time.

13) Seats are limited.
