In that win, junior Stella Johnson recorded the second triple-double in 7-11 MAAC Championships in Albany, NY program history. She had 35 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. - The Broncs went 1-1 at the 25th Annual Hawk Classic last weekend. Rider defeated HOME GAMES IN CAPS host Saint Joseph’s, 56-54, before falling to Boston College in the Championship Game. # Saint Joseph’s Thanksgiving Tournament For her efforts, Stella Johnson was named to the All-Tournament Team. * MAAC Contest - Sophomore Daija Moses tied a career-high with points against Boston College last time out. - Amari Johnson has scored in double figures in three straight games for Rider. - All of Rider’s home games this season will be streamed on either ESPN3 or ESPN+. There will be no radio broadcasts during Rider’s home games in 2018-19. 2018-19 Rider Women’s Basketball SCOUTING NJIT About Rider University The Highlanders enters Wednesday’s midweek clash with 1-6 record after Location: Lawrenceville, New Jersey going 1-1 at their Thanksgiving weekend tournament. Versus Saint Joseph’s on Saturday, she set a new ca- reer-high with three steals. FILLING IN Freshman point guard Amanda Mobley has made three consecutive starts for Rider filling in for injured captain Lexi Posset. In her starts, she is averag- ing over six points and three assists per contest. Last time out, she went 4-of- 10 from the field for nine points to go along with three assists against Boston College. She has dished out three or more assists in two of her last three appearances. She also played a career-high 26 minutes versus the Eagles on Sunday. HEATING UP Junior wing Amari Johnson has scored in double figures in three straight games for the Broncs. At the Hawk Classic, she scored 17 points against host Saint Joseph’s before adding 10 points against Boston College. Also versus the Eagles, Amari set new career-bests with three steals and four assists. 2018-19 Rider Women’s Basketball TURNOVER MARGIN Versus Saint Joseph’s Rider had more assists than turnovers for the first time this season. The Broncs had 12 dimes and turned it over just 11 times.
