We are glad to invite you to International Bridge Festival White Nights-2015.
May, 23 to May, 31 2015
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY Main Festival program includes Open Pairs Tournament and Open Teams Tournament.
Open Pairs will be held on May 28-29, 2015. The entry fee is 3500 rubles (≈ 45-50 €) for pair. Prizes for best three pairs are 25000, 15000 and 10000 rubles (≈ I place 350 €; II place 200 €; III 130 €).
Open Teams will be held on May 30-31, 2015. The entry fee is 9000 rubles (≈ 120 €) for team. Prizes for best three teams are 35000, 25000 and 15000 rubles (≈ I place 500 €; II place 330 €; III 200 €).

St. Petersburg is full of mysterious places, unique monuments, architectural ensembles, and the weather is the same as in London - rain and fog! During the tour you will learn many interesting facts about history of St. Petersburg. You will hear myths and legends, and learn if is it easy be a citizen St Petersburg living on the same latitude as Alaska. You will visit the "Russian Bastille" and find out who was her first reigning prisoner. In the world-famous Hermitage Museum you will see paintings by Rubens, Rembrandt, Da Vinci and Raphael. Besides you'll get a chance to know what only Catherine the Great and mice could see, according to her own words.

10:30 "Kronstadt - the city of naval glory of Russia"
Bus tour with a visit to Kronstadt forts "Constantine the Great" and "Alexander I". The program for the day includes a boat trip "Ripperban" along the Gulf of Finland, as well as a visit to the shipyard "Poltava".
Kronstadt - the "Crown City", the port city, the base of warships. And now it is also a reliable shield against floods, coming to St Petersburg from the Baltic Sea. Floods occur in October and November, so you have nothing to worry about if you come in spring or summer! The construction works of the dam was fully completed in 2012, just three years ago, and so you have the opportunity to find yourself in the heart of this unique structure!

Indeed, Peter I created Paradise on Earth. As soon as you find yourself in Peterhof you'll believe in what's written above because you'll be surrounded by Gods of Olympus, divine gardens, ponds with fish and diamond splashes from fountains of wondrous beauty. Peterhof is often compared with the famous French residence, that's why it is often called "the Russian Versailles" According to the opinion of the majority of visitors Peterhof is even more picturesque but this statement is subjective so it's up to you to decide
Boat trip
St Petersburg is many-sided - you'll see different faces of the city if you look at it from the streets and from water! For those who prefer water views we offer a boat trip along the numerous rivers and canals of St Petersburg. Above your head you'll see lots of bridges with their stories and legends. You'll see the new look of palaces, parks and theaters. Make sure you're dressed warm because even in hot weather it's chilly on water.

10:30 "Myths and Legends of Vyborg"
Couch excursion to the city of Viborg which includes a visit to the St. Olaf’s tower (you’ll have to climb 239 stairs up) and a walk through the Old city with a short stay in a real Vikings’ village. Duration – 10 hours. The city of Viborg is a part of medieval Europe on the territory of Russia near St Petersburg. The main peculiarity of this region (area and city) is the Vikings’ village where you will get acquainted with the Varangian’s culture, traditions and way of life. The Vikings’ village is an absolutely authentic creation of historians and archeologists who are interested in Vikings’ culture. You will also visit a tower located in the medieval fortress built by the Swedes in 1293.
Vikings' village program is called "Vendian falcon" and includes a lot of competitions and funs.
