Latin Bridge "Where It All Began!"

Latin Bridge is one of the oldest and best-conserved bridges in Sarajevo. It garnered international attention when Gavrilo Princip assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria in the year 1914. The event was one of the catalysts for World War I and led to important events spanning the entire 20th Century. While the Ottoman bridge's age might be up for by Tumi-1983 debate, it was first mentioned in a census in the year 1541. Built from gypsum and stone, it rests on three pillars that float over the River Miljacka. Though it might not be as impressive to look at when compared to other bridges around the world, the rich history of this site from 16th- century onwards; especially its role in World War I, is enough to draw thousands of visitors every year.

Baščaršija "Hub of Bosnian Crafts"

Baščaršija is a marketplace, which is also a popular historical and cultural hub of Sarajevo. The market was established when the city was founded by Isa-Beg Isaković, in 1462. The current market is a smaller version of the original, which was destroyed by a fire and acts of vandalism. Notable historic monuments like the Gazi Husref-bey's mosque, Havedza Durak, by Anosmia and Tower Clock can be found here. The market was arranged according to the crafts sold, with each street being dedicated to one or more crafts. The square houses a host of significant structures within its boundaries such as the Emperor's Mosque, Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, Morica Han, Stari Hram and Vijecnica.

Museum of the Jews of Bosnia and Herzegovina "Celebrating A Community"

Set in the country's oldest synagogue, Museum of the Jews of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a part of the Museum of Sarajevo. The 16th-century temple is the perfect place for this repository as it showcases the story of the Jews in the nation. It chronicles this community's migration to Bosnia and by Bjoertvedt Herzegovina in the end of the 15th Century to the present age. Check out the exhibits, archives and documentations that depict their huge contribution in science and arts. The repository was opened in 1966.

Eternal Flame "Remembering the Heroes"

A homage to those who lost their lives during the Second Great War is the Eternal flame. A burning flame inside a small monument, it was built for the civilians and soldiers who lost their lives in World War II. Devoted to the day of Sarajevo’s liberation, which is on April 6, 1946, from the German occupation, it is one of the most significant historical attractions by Pudelek (Marcin Szala) in the city.

Ferhadija, Sarajevo Ferhadija Mosque "Exemplary Ottoman Mosque"

With five layers of stunning wall paintings, the Ferhadija Mosque in Sarajevo remains one of the most stunning mosques in the city. Also known as Ferhat-Pasha Mosque or Ferhad-Beg Vuković Mosque, the religious building was founded by the governor of Bosnia Ferhad-Beg Vuković, who was a royal family descendant in the region. The mosque is by Clay Gilliland one of the most classic examples of the most mature and fully developed Ottoman style of architecture with a stunning minaret, small portico and domes. After excavations on the building wall, it was revealed that they have five different layers of paintings from various centuries.

Sarajevo Tunnel

"Historic Underground Tunnel"

This historic tunnel was built by the Bosnian Army in 1993 during the Siege of Sarajevo. The tunnel was specifically constructed to connect the city's two important locales of Butmir and Dobrinja which facilitated the transportation of essential supplies and human aid amongst the by spacebirdy(also known as inhabitants of the area. Šeher-Ćehaja Bridge "Historic Bridge And National Monument"

Probably dating back to the 16th Century, Šeher-Ćehaja Bridge was the first Ottoman bridge to be erected from the 13 links built in that reign. It is also among the oldest bridges in the city. Spanning across the Miljacka River, it was damaged a few times but was restored successfully. Located close to the city hall and a few other attractions, this stone bridge bears by Julian Nyča testimony to a bygone era. It is a designated national monument and a popular tourist attraction.
