January 2016

Royals Game I am so luckyFebruary to have tickets2016 to the Royals games! I really enjoy going. This month turned out totally different then planned. Due to rain, 2 of my friends backed out but Erin and I are troopers and wasn't going to let a down pour ruin our night. We had a 2 hour delay but then an amazing game. We were able to save our friendsMarch Kelly 2016 and Matt from the rain! I got home after 2am and enjoyed every mintue of the evening!!

Fiesta Mexicana: I can't miss getting my food at the Fiesta. This year I took Kolton!! I wish it was more affordable for a 5 year old. He however was a big boy and was ok just walking around and eating yummy food!

Concert Series: We purchased a 4 concert package at Cricket Amphitheatre. Our next concert was Tim McGraw. This was so much better than the first one. We were allowed to bring in blankets so we could sit in between concerts! It was so hot but worth it! I like heat more than cold!! Tim McGraw still has it!! Billy Currington was also very entertaining!

Paws in the Park Sept 19 9a to 12p

Paws in the Park is the largest annual fundraiser for Helping Hands Humane Society. HHHS admits over 8,000 animals a year. The cost to compassionately care for and provide world-class medical care for this number of animals can be staggering but unavoidable. Paws in the Park helps to raise money to support the animals that enter our doors. HHHS is proud to provide sanctuary for the lost, abandoned and unwanted animals of the NE Kansas community.

NEW LOWER FEES! Registration to participate in Paws in the Park is $25 which includes an event t-shirt, VIP goodie bag, and one souvenir dog bandana. Additional pets can be registered for participation with a $10 donation. Attendees can also register for a $5 donation but will not recieve a t-shirt, goodie bag, or bandana. Children 16 years old and younger are free.

Paws in the Park is the must-attend event for any animal lover. The event begins with a one-mile mutt strut through Gage Park. Following the walk, vendors are open for shopping and browsing along with other activities. Throughout the morning, pet contests will be conducted and, for a minimal donation, pancakes and sausage will be served by Perkin's Family Restaurant and Bakery.
