Aamal of Thirteen (13) Rajab (Night) ﺳﻮرە ٰﺴ ﱠ ُ َ َ َ َ َ َ ُ ٰ َﻋ Month of Rajab Extract from Mafateeh | Bright Days (13,14,15th) ; 13 Rajab Aamal Night /Day Aamal of Thirteen (13) Rajab (Night) :In the night of the 13 th pray 2 Rak - a’t ﴿ 1 ﴾ It is recommended to offer a certain prayer on each of the White Nights (i.e. the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth nights of each Arabic month) in Rajab, Sha’ban, and Ramadan. At the thirteenth night of Rajab, it is recommended to offer a prayer consisting of two units at each of which it is advisable to recite ; 1_ Surah al - Faatehah once a nd 2_ Surahs Yasin (No. 36) once , 3_ Surah al - Mulk (No. 67) once , and 4_ Surah al - Tawheed once . ٰ ﺳﻮرە ﺴ ,(Surah Yaseeni (36 ْ ﱠ ْ َ ٰ ﱠ ِﺴ ِﻢ اﻟﻠـ ِﻪ اﻟﺮﺣﻤ ﻦ اﻟﺮ ِﺣ ِﻢ َ ُ ْ َ ﱠ َ َ ُ ْ َ َ َ ﺲ ﴿ ١ ﴾ واﻟﻘﺮآ ِن اﻟﺤ ِﻜ ِﻢ ﴿ ٢ ﴾ ِإﻧﻚ ﻟ ِﻤﻦ اﻟﻤﺮﺳِﻠ ﴿ ٣ ﴾ ﻋ ٰ َ ﱡ ْ َ َ َ َ ﱠ ُ َ َ ْ ﱠ َ ِا ٍط ﻣﺴﺘ ِﻘ ٍﻢ ﴿ ٤ ﴾ ﺗ ﻞ اﻟﻌ ﺰ اﻟﺮ ِﺣ ِﻢ ﴿ ٥ ﴾ ِﻟﺘﻨ ِﺬر ﻗﻮﻣﺎ ﻣﺎ أﻧ ِﺬر َ ُ ُ ْ َ ُ ْ َ َ َ ْ َ ﱠ َ ْ ُ َ َ ْ َ ُ ْ َ آﺎؤﻫﻢ ﻓﻬﻢ ﻏﺎ ِﻓﻠﻮن ﴿ ٦ ﴾ ﻟﻘﺪ ﺣﻖ اﻟﻘﻮل ﻋ ٰ أ ِﻫﻢ ﻓﻬﻢ ُ ْ ُ َ ﱠ َ َ َ ْ َ ْ ْ َ ً َ َ ْ َ ْ َ َ ُ ﻳﺆِﻣﻨﻮن ﴿ ٧ ﴾ِإﻧﺎ ﺟﻌﻠﻨﺎ ِ أﻋﻨﺎ ِﻗ ِﻬﻢ أﻏ ﻓ ِ ِإ اﻷذﻗﺎ ِن ﻓﻬﻢ ﱡ ْ َ ُ َ َ َ َ َ َ ْ ْ ْ َ َ ْ َ ْ َ ﻣﻘﻤﺤﻮن ﴿ ٨ ﴾وﺟﻌﻠﻨﺎ ِﻣﻦ ﺑ أ ِﺪﻳ ِﻬﻢ ﺳﺪا وِﻣﻦ ﺧﻠ ِﻔ ِﻬﻢ ﺳﺪا َ ْ َ ْ َ ُ ْ َ ُ ْ َ ُ ْ ُ َ َ َ َ ٌ َ ْ ْ َ ْ َ ُ ْ ْ ْ ﻓﺄﻏﺸﻨﺎﻫﻢ ﻓﻬﻢ ﻳ ِون ﴿ ٩ ﴾ وﺳﻮاء ﻋﻠﻴ ِﻬﻢ أأﻧﺬرﺗﻬﻢ أم ﻟﻢ ُ ْ ُ ْ َ ُ ْ ُ َ ﱠ َ ُ ُ َ ﱠ َ َ ﱢ َ َ ﺗﻨ ِﺬرﻫﻢ ﻳﺆﻣﻨﻮن ﴿ ١٠ ﴾ إﻧﻤﺎ ﺗﻨ ِﺬر ﻣﻦ اﺗﺒﻊ اﻟﺬﻛ َﺮ وﺧ ِ َ َ ِ َ ﱢ ِ ْ ﱠ َ اﻟ ﱠﺮ ْﺣ َﻤٰ َﻦ ﺎﻟﻐ ْﺐ ۖ◌ ﻓ َ ُْە َﻤﻐﻔ َﺮة َوأ ْﺟﺮ ﻛﻢ ﴿ ١١ ﴾ إﻧﺎ ﻧ ْﺤ ُﻦ ِ ِ َ ِ ِ َ ٍ ٍ ِ ُ ْ َ ْ َ ٰ َ َ ُ ُ َ ﱠ ُ َ َ ُ ْ ۚ َ ﱠ َ ْ ْ َ ْ َ ُ ﻧﺤِ اﻟﻤﻮ وﻧﺘﺐ ﻣﺎ ﻗﺪﻣﻮا وآﺛﺎرﻫ ﻢ ◌ وﻞ ٍء أﺣﺼﻨﺎە ِ َ ﱡ َ ْ ْ ُ ﱠ َ ً ْ َ َ َ ْ َ ْ َ َ َ ِإﻣﺎٍم ﻣ ِﺒ ﴿ ١٢ ﴾ وا ب ﻟﻬﻢ ﻣﺜ أﺻﺤﺎب اﻟﻘ ِﺔ ِإذ ﺟﺎءﻫﺎ ُ ْ َ َ ْ ْ َ َ ْ ُ ْ َ ْ َ ﱠ ُ ُ َ َ َ ﱠ ْ َ َ اﻟﻤﺮﺳﻠﻮن ﴿ ١٣ ﴾ ِإذ أرﺳﻠﻨﺎ ِإﻟﻴ ِﻬﻢ اﺛﻨ ﻓﺬﺑﻮﻫﻤﺎ ﻓﻌﺰزﻧﺎ ِﺑﺜﺎِﻟ ٍﺚ َ َ ﱠ ْ ﱡ ْ َ َ َ َ ُ ْ ﱠ َ َ ٌ ﱢ ْ َ َ َ ﻓﻘﺎﻟﻮا ِإﻧﺎ ِإﻟﻢ ﻣﺮﺳﻠﻮن ﴿ ١٤ ﴾ ﻗﺎﻟﻮا ﻣﺎ أﻧﺘﻢ ِإ ﻣﺜﻠﻨﺎ وﻣﺎ َ َ ﱠ ْ َ ٰ ُ َ ْ ْ ُ ْ ﱠ َ ُ َ َ َ ﱡ َ َ ْ ُ أ ﻧﺰل اﻟﺮﺣﻤﻦ ِﻣﻦ ٍء ِإن أﻧﺘﻢ ِإ ﺗ ِﺬﺑﻮن ﴿ ١٥ ﴾ ﻗﺎﻟﻮا رﻨﺎ ﻌﻠﻢ ﱠ ْ ْ ُ ْ َ َ َ َ َ ْ َ ﱠ َ َ ُ ُ ُ َ ِإﻧﺎ ِإﻟﻢ ﻟﻤﺮﺳﻠﻮن ﴿ ١٦ ﴾ وﻣﺎ ﻋﻠﻴﻨﺎ ِإ اﻟغ اﻟﻤ ِﺒ ﴿ ١٧ ﴾ ﻗﺎﻟﻮا ﱠ َ َ ﱠ َ ْ ْ َ َ ُ َ ُ َ ﱠ ْ َ َ َ ﱠ ﱠ ﱢ ﱠ َ َ ٌ إﻧﺎ ﺗﻄ ْﻧﺎ ﻢ ۖ◌ ﻟِ ﻟﻢ ﺗﺘﻬﻮا ﻟ ْﺟﻤﻨ ﻢ وﻟﻤﺴﻨﻢ ﻣﻨﺎ ﻋﺬاب ِ َِ َ ُ ُ ُ َ أﻟ ٌﻢ ﴿ ١٨ ﴾ ﻗﺎﻟﻮا ﻃﺎﺋ ُﺮﻢ ﱠﻣ َﻌ ْﻢ ۚ◌ أﺋﻦ ذ ْﺮﺗﻢ ۚ◌ َ ْﻞ أﻧﺘ ْﻢ ﻗ ْﻮ ٌم ِ ُ ِ ْ ِ َ َ ﱡ ْ َ َ َ َ ْ َ َ َ َ ُ ٌ َ ْ َ ٰ َ َ ْ ﻣ ﻓﻮن ﴿ ١٩ ﴾ وﺟﺎء ِﻣﻦ أﻗ اﻟﻤ ِﺪﻳﻨ ِﺔ رﺟﻞ ﺴ ﻗﺎل ﺎ ﻗﻮِم ﱠ ُ ُ ْ َ َ ﱠ ُ َ ﱠ َ ْ ْ ْ َ ُ اﺗ ِﻌﻮا اﻟﻤﺮﺳِﻠ ﴿ ٢٠ ﴾ اﺗ ِﻌﻮا ﻣﻦ ﺴﺄﻟﻢ أﺟﺮا وﻫﻢ ﱡ ْ َ ُ َ َ َ َ َ ْ ُ ُ َ َ َ َ ْ ﻣﻬﺘﺪون ﴿ ٢١ ﴾ و ﻣﺎ ِ أﻋﺪ اﻟ ِﺬي ﻓﻄﺮِ وِﻟ ِﻪ ُ ْ َ ُ َ ﱠ ُ ُ َ ً ُ ْ ﱠ ْ َ ٰ ُ ُ ﱟ ﱠ ﺗﺮﺟﻌﻮن ﴿ ٢٢ ﴾ أأﺗ ِﺨﺬ ِﻣﻦ دوِﻧ ِﻪ آِﻟﻬﺔ ِإن ﻳ ﺮد ِن اﻟﺮﺣﻤﻦ ِ ُ ْ َ ﱢ َ َ َ ُ ُ ْ َ ْ َ َ ُ ُ ﱢ َ َ ﺗﻐﻦ ﻋ ﺷﻔﺎﻋﺘﻬﻢ ﺷﺌﺎ و ﻳﻨ ِﻘﺬون ﴿ ٢٣ ﴾ إ إذا ﻟ ِ ﺿل ﱢ ُ َ ِ ِ ِ ْ ُ ٍ ﱡﻣﺒ ﴿ ٢٤ ﴾ إ آ َﻣﻨﺖ ﺑ َﱢ ْﻢ ﻓﺎ ْﺳ َﻤ ُﻌﻮن ﴿ ٢٥ ﴾ ﻗ َﻞ ادﺧﻞ ِ َ َ ِ َ ِ ِ ِ ِ َ ﱠ ۖ َ َ ْ َ ْ َ ْ ُ َ َ َ َ َ َ ﱢ َ َ َ اﻟﺠﻨﺔ ◌ ﻗﺎل ﺎ ﻟﺖ ﻗﻮِ ﻌﻠﻤﻮن ﴿ ٢٦ ﴾ ِﻤﺎ ﻏﻔﺮ ِ ر وﺟﻌﻠِ َ ُ َ َ َ َ َ َ َ َ ْ َ ْ ُ ﱢ َ ِﻣﻦ اﻟﻤﺮِﻣ ﴿ ٢٧ ﴾ وﻣﺎ أﻧﺰﻟﻨﺎ ﻋ ٰ ﻗﻮِﻣ ِﻪ ِﻣﻦ ﻌ ِﺪ ِە ِﻣﻦ ﺟﻨ ٍ ﺪ ﻣﻦ ﱠ َ َ َ ﱠ ُ َ َ ْ ﱠ َ ْ َ ً َ َ ً َ َ ُ ْ اﻟﺴﻤﺎ ِء وﻣﺎ ﻛﻨﺎ ﻣ ِ ِﻟ ﴿ ٢٨ ﴾ ِإن ﺎﻧﺖ ِإ ﺻﺤﺔ وا ِﺣﺪة ﻓِﺈذا ﻫﻢ َ ُ َ َ َ ْ َ ً َ َ َ َ ﱢ ﱠ ُ ﱠ ﺧﺎ ِﻣﺪون ﴿ ٢٩ ﴾ﺎ ﺣة ﻋ اﻟ ِﻌﺎ ِد ۚ◌ ﻣﺎ ﺄ ِﺗﻴ ِﻬﻢ ﻣﻦ رﺳﻮ ٍل ِإ ُ َ ْ َ ْ ُ َ ْ َ َ ْ ْ ْ َ َ ْ ُ ﱢ َ ُ ُ ﺎﻧﻮا ِ ِﻪ ﺴﺘﻬ ﺰﺋﻮن ﴿ ٣٠ ﴾ أﻟﻢ ﻳﺮوا ﻢ أﻫﻠﻨﺎ ﻗﻠﻬﻢ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻘﺮو ِن ﱠ ُ ْ ْ ْ َ َ ْ ُ َ َ ﱞ ﱠ َ ٌ َ ْ َ أﻧﻬﻢ ِإﻟﻴ ِﻬﻢ ﻳﺮِﺟﻌﻮن ﴿ ٣١ ﴾ ون ﻞ ﻟﻤﺎ ﺟ ِﻤﻴﻊ ﻟﺪﻳﻨﺎ ُ ْ َ َ َ َ ٌ ُ ُ ْ َ ْ ُ ِ َ ْ َ ُ ْ َ ْ َ َ َ ْ ْ َ ْ َ ﻣﺤ ُون ﴿ ٣٢ ﴾ وآﺔ ﻟﻬﻢ اﻷرض اﻟﻤﻴﺘﺔ أﺣﻴﻨﺎﻫﺎ وأﺧ َﺮﺟﻨﺎ ِﻣﻨﻬﺎ َ َ ْ ُ َ َ َ َ َ َ َ َ ﱠ ﱢ ﱠ َ ْ َ ﺣﺎ ﻓ ِﻤﻨﻪ ﺄﻠﻮن ﴿ ٣٣ ﴾وﺟﻌﻠﻨﺎ ِﻓﻴﻬﺎ ﺟﻨﺎ ٍت ﻣﻦ ﻧ ِﺨ ٍﻞ وأﻋﻨﺎ ٍب َ َ ﱠ ْ َ َ َ ُ ُ َ َ َ َ َ َ ْ ُ وﻓﺠﺮﻧﺎ ِﻓﻴﻬﺎ ِﻣﻦ اﻟﻌﻴﻮ ِن ﴿ ٣٤ ﴾ ِﻟﺄﻠﻮا ِﻣﻦ ﺛﻤ ﺮِە وﻣﺎ ﻋ ِﻤﻠﺘﻪ ْ ْ َ َ َ ْ ُ َ ُ ْ َ َ َ َ ْ َ ْ َ َ َ أ ِﺪﻳ ِﻬﻢ ۖ◌ أﻓ ﺸﻜﺮون ﴿ ٣٥ ﴾ﺳﺤﺎن اﻟ ِﺬي ﺧﻠﻖ اﻷزواج ﻠﻬﺎ WWW.IEC - Houston.org Islamic Education Centre of Houston Page 1 of 4 Month of Rajab Extract from Mafateeh | Bright Days (13,14,15th) ; 13 Rajab Aamal Night /Day ﱠ ُ ُ ْ َ ْ ُ َ ْ ُ ْ َ ﱠ َ َ ْ ُ َ َ َ ٌ ُ ُ ِﻣﻤﺎ ﺗﺖ اﻷرض وﻣﻦ أﻧﻔ ِﺴﻬﻢ وﻣﻤﺎ ﻌﻠﻤﻮن ﴿ ٣٦ ﴾ وآﺔ ﻟﻬﻢ َ ِ ُ ْ ُ ﱠ ِ َ َ ُِ ِ َ ﱠ َ اﻟﻠ ْ ُﻞ ْﺴﻠﺦ ﻣﻨﻪ اﻟﻨ َﻬﺎَر ﻓﺈذا ﻫﻢ ﱡﻣﻈﻠ ُﻤﻮن ﴿ ٣٧ ﴾ َواﻟﺸ ْﻤ ُﺲ ﺗ ْﺠﺮي ِ َ ِ ِ َ ُ ْ َ َ ﱟ َ ۚ ٰ َ َ ْ ُ َ َ َ َ َ َ ﱠ ْ َ ُ ِﻟﻤﺴﺘﻘﺮ ﻟﻬﺎ ◌ ذ ِﻟﻚ ﺗﻘ ِﺪﻳﺮ اﻟﻌ ﺰ اﻟﻌِﻠ ِﻢ ﴿ ٣٨ ﴾ واﻟﻘﻤﺮ ﻗﺪرﻧﺎە َ َ َ َ ﱠ َ َ ُ ْ ُ َ َ ﱠ ْ ُ َ َ َ ﻣﻨﺎ زل ﺣ ٰ ﻋﺎد ﺎﻟﻌﺮﺟﻮ ِن اﻟﻘ ِﺪ ِﻢ ﴿ ٣٩ ﴾ اﻟﺸﻤﺲ ﻳِ ﻟﻬﺎ أن ُ ْ َ َ َ َ َ َ ْ ُ َ ُ ﱠ َ َ ﱞ َ ﺗﺪ رك اﻟﻘﻤﺮ و اﻟﻠﻞ ﺳﺎ ِﺑﻖ اﻟﻨﻬﺎ ر ۚ◌ وﻞ ِ ﻓﻠ ٍﻚ َ ْ َ ُ َ َ َ ٌ ُ ْ ﱠ َ َ َ ُ ﱢ ﱠ َ ُ ْ ُ ﺴﺤﻮن ﴿ ٤٠ ﴾ وآﺔ ﻟﻬﻢ أﻧﺎ ﺣﻤﻠﻨﺎ ذرﺘﻬﻢ ِ اﻟﻔﻠ ِﻚ َ ْ ُ َ َ ْ َ ُ ﱢ ﱢ ْ َ َ ْ ُ َ َ ﱠ َ اﻟﻤﺸﺤﻮ ِن ﴿ ٤١ ﴾ وﺧﻠﻘﻨﺎ ﻟﻬﻢ ﻣﻦ ﻣﺜِﻠ ِﻪ ﻣﺎ ﻳﺮﺒﻮن ﴿ ٤٢ ﴾ ون ﺸﺄ ُ ْ ْ ُ ْ َ َ َ َ ُ ْ َ َ ُ ْ ُ َ ُ َ ﱠ َ ْ َِ ً ﱢ ﱠ ﻧﻐ ﺮﻗﻬﻢ ﻓ ــــﺦ ﻟﻬﻢ و ﻫﻢ ﻳﻨﻘﺬون ﴿ ٤٣ ﴾ ِإ رﺣﻤﺔ ﻣﻨﺎ َ َ َ َ َ َ ُ ُ ﱠ ُ َ َ ْ َ ْ ْ َ َ وﻣﺘﺎﻋﺎ ِإ ٰ ِﺣ ﴿ ٤٤ ﴾ وذا ِﻗﻞ ﻟﻬﻢ اﺗﻘﻮا ﻣﺎ ﺑ أ ِﺪﻢ وﻣﺎ َ َ ْ َ ْ ُ ْ َ ُ َ ِ َ َ َ ﱢ ْ َ ﱢ ْ َ َ ﱢ ْ ﺧﻠﻔﻢ ﻟﻌﻠﻢ ﺗﺮﺣﻤﻮن ﴿ ٤٥ ﴾ وﻣﺎ ﺗﺄ ِﺗﻴ ِﻬﻢ ﻣﻦ آ ٍﺔ ﻣﻦ آﺎ ِت رــ ِﻬﻢ ﱠ ُ َ ْ َ ُ ْ َ َ َ َ ُ ْ ُ ﱠ َ َ َ ُ ُ إ ﺎﻧﻮا ﻋﻨﻬﺎ ﻣﻌﺮ ِﺿ ﴿ ٤٦ ﴾ وذا ِﻗﻞ ﻟﻬﻢ أﻧ ِﻔﻘﻮا ِﻣﻤﺎ رزﻗﻢ اﻟﻠـﻪ ِ َ َ ُ ُِ ْ َ ُ ْ ُ ْ ﻗﺎ َل اﻟﺬﻳ َﻦ ﻛﻔ ُﺮوا ﻟﻠﺬﻳ َﻦ آ َﻣﻨﻮا أﻧﻄﻌ ُﻢ َﻣﻦ ﻟ ْﻮ َﺸﺎ ُء اﻟﻠـﻪ أﻃ َﻌ َﻤﻪ إن ﱠ ِ َ ِ ِ ِ َ ِ ُ ْ َ ﱡ َ َ ُ َ َ َ ٰ َ ٰ َ ْ ُ ُ ْ أﻧﺘﻢ ِإ ِ ﺿ ٍل ﻣ ِﺒ ﴿ ٤٧ ﴾ وﻘﻮﻟﻮن ﻣ ﻫﺬا اﻟﻮﻋﺪ ِإن ﻛﻨﺘﻢ َ َ َ َ ُ َ ﱠ َ ْ َ ً َ َ ً َ ُ ُ ُ ْ َ ُ ْ ﺻﺎ ِد ِﻗ ﴿ ٤٨ ﴾ ﻣﺎ ﻳﻨﻈﺮون ِإ ﺻﺤﺔ وا ِﺣﺪة ﺗﺄﺧﺬﻫﻢ وﻫﻢ َ ﱢ ُ َ َ َ َ ْ َ ُ َ َ ْ َ ً َ َ ْ ْ ِﺨﺼﻤﻮن ﴿ ٤٩ ﴾ ﻓ ﺴﺘ ِﻄﻌﻮن ﺗﻮ ِﺻﺔ و ِإ ٰ أﻫِﻠ ِﻬﻢ َ ْ ُ َ َ ُ َ ﱡ َ َ ُ ﱢ َ ْ َ ْ َ َ ﱢ ْ ﻳﺮِﺟﻌﻮن ﴿ ٥٠ ﴾ وﻧ ِﻔﺦ ِ اﻟﺼﻮ ر ﻓِﺈذا ﻫ ﻢ ﻣﻦ اﻷﺟﺪا ِث ِإ ٰ رــ ِﻬﻢ َ َ َ َ َ ْ َ َ َ َ َ َ ﱠ َ َ َ َ َ ﻳ ِﺴﻠﻮ ن ﴿ ٥١ ﴾ ﻗﺎﻟﻮا ﺎ وﻠﻨﺎ ﻣﻦ ﻌﺜﻨﺎ ِﻣﻦ ﻣ ْﺮﻗ ِﺪﻧﺎ ۜ◌ ۗ◌ ﻫٰﺬا ﻣﺎ َ َ َ ﱠ ْ َ ٰ ُ َ َ َ َ ُ ْ َ َ َ ْ ﱠ َ ْ َ ً وﻋﺪ اﻟﺮﺣﻤﻦ وﺻﺪق اﻟﻤﺮﺳﻠﻮن ﴿ ٥٢ ﴾ِإن ﺎﻧﺖ ِإ ﺻﺤﺔ َ َ ً َ َ ُ ْ َ ٌ َ ْ َ ُ ْ َ ُ َ َ َ ْ َ َ ُ ُ وا ِﺣﺪة ﻓِﺈذا ﻫﻢ ﺟ ِﻤﻴﻊ ﻟﺪﻳﻨﺎ ﻣﺤون ﴿ ٥٣ ﴾ﻓﺎﻟﻴﻮم ﺗﻈﻠﻢ َ ْ ٌ َ ْ َ َ ُ ْ َ ْ َ ﱠ َ ُ ْ َ ْ َ َ ﱠ ْ َ َ ﻧﻔﺲ ﺷﺌﺎ و ﺗﺠﺰون ِإ ﻣﺎ ﻛﻨﺘﻢ ﺗﻌﻤﻠﻮن ﴿ ٥٤ ﴾ ِإن أﺻﺤﺎب َ ﱠ َ ْ َ ُ ُ َ ُ َ ُ ْ َ ْ َ ُ ُ ْ َ َ اﻟﺠﻨ ِﺔ اﻟﻴﻮم ِ ﺷﻐ ٍﻞ ﻓﺎ ِﻬﻮن ﴿ ٥٥ ﴾ ﻫﻢ وأزواﺟﻬﻢ ِ ِﻇ ٍل ﻋ ْ َ َ ُ ﱠ ُ َ ُ ْ َ َ َ ٌ َ ُ ﱠ اﻷرا ِﺋ ِﻚ ﻣﺘ ِﺌﻮن ﴿ ٥٦ ﴾ ﻟﻬﻢ ِﻓﻴﻬﺎ ﻓﺎ ِﻬﺔ وﻟﻬﻢ ﻣﺎ َ ﱠ ُ َ َ َ ٌ َ ْ ً ﱢ ﱠ ﱟ ﱠ َ ْ َ ُ َ ْ َ ﱡ َ ﺪﻋﻮن ﴿ ٥٧ ﴾ ﺳم ﻗﻮ ﻣﻦ رب ر ِﺣ ٍﻢ ﴿ ٥٨ ﴾ واﻣﺘﺎزوا اﻟﻴﻮم أﻳﻬﺎ ُ ْ ُ َ ْ ْ َ ْ ْ ْ َ َ َ َ ﱠ َ ْ ُ ُ اﻟﻤﺠ ﺮﻣﻮن ﴿ ٥٩ ﴾ أﻟﻢ أﻋﻬﺪ ِإﻟﻢ ﺎ ﺑِ آدم أن ﺗﻌﺪوا ﱠ ْ َ َ ﱠ ُ ْ َ ُ ﱞ ﱡ ٌ َ ْ ُ ُ َ ٰ َ اﻟﺸﻄﺎن ۖ◌ ِإﻧﻪ ﻟﻢ ﻋﺪو ﻣ ِﺒ ﴿ ٦٠ ﴾ وأ ِن اﻋﺪوِ ۚ◌ ﻫﺬا َ ٌ ﱡ ْ َ ٌ َ َ ْ َ ﱠ ْ َ ْ َ ُ ِاط ﻣﺴﺘ ِﻘﻢ ﴿ ٦١ ﴾ وﻟﻘﺪ أﺿﻞ ِﻣﻨﻢ ِﺟ ِ ﻛ ِﺜا ۖ◌ أﻓﻠﻢ ﺗﻮﻧﻮا َ ْ َ َ ٰ َ َ ﱠ ُ ُ ْ ُ َ ُ َ ْ ْ َ ﺗﻌ ِﻘﻠﻮن ﴿ ٦٢ ﴾ ﻫ ِﺬ ِە ﺟﻬﻨﻢ اﻟِ ﻛﻨﺘﻢ ﺗﻮﻋﺪون ﴿ ٦٣ ﴾ اﺻﻠﻮﻫﺎ َ ْ َ َ ُ ْ َ ُ ُ َ َ ْ َ َ ْ ُ َ ْ َ ْ َ ُ ُ َ اﻟﻴﻮم ِﻤﺎ ﻛﻨﺘﻢ ﺗﻔﺮون ﴿ ٦٤ ﴾ اﻟﻴﻮم ﻧﺨ ِﺘﻢ ﻋ ٰ أﻓﻮا ِﻫ ِﻬﻢ وﺗﻠﻤﻨﺎ ْ ْ َ َ ْ َ ُ ْ ُ ُ َ ُ َ ُ َ َ ْ َ َ ُ أ ِﺪﻳ ِﻬﻢ وﺸﻬﺪ أرﺟﻠﻬﻢ ِﻤﺎ ﺎﻧﻮا ِﺴﺒﻮن ﴿ ٦٥ ﴾ وﻟﻮ ﺸﺎء َ َ ْ َ َ ْ ُ ْ َ ْ َ َ ُ ﱢ َ َ َ ﱠ ُ ْ ُ َ َ ْ ﻟﻄﻤﺴﻨﺎ ﻋ ٰ أﻋﻴ ِﻨ ِﻬﻢ ﻓﺎﺳﻘﻮا اﻟاط ﻓﺄ ٰ ﻳ ِون ﴿ ٦٦ ﴾وﻟﻮ َ َ ُ َ َ ْ َ ُ ْ َ َ َ ْ َ َ ْ َ َ ُ ُ َ َ ﺸﺎء ﻟﻤﺴﺨﻨﺎﻫﻢ ﻋ ٰ ﻣﺎﻧ ِﺘ ِﻬﻢ ﻓﻤﺎ اﺳﺘﻄﺎﻋﻮا ﻣ ِﻀﺎ و َ ْ ُ َ َ َ ﱡ َ ﱢ ْ ُ ُ َ ْ ُ َ َ َ ﻳﺮِﺟﻌﻮن ﴿ ٦٧ ﴾ وﻣﻦ ﻧﻌﻤﺮە ﻧﻨﺴﻪ ِ اﻟﺨﻠ ِﻖ ۖ◌ أﻓ َ ْ َ َ َ َ ْ َ ُ ﱢ ْ َ َ َ َ َ ُ ْ ُ َ ﱠ ٌ ﻌ ِﻘﻠﻮن ﴿ ٦٨ ﴾وﻣﺎ ﻋﻠﻤﻨﺎە اﻟﺸﻌﺮ وﻣﺎ ﻳِ ﻟﻪ ۚ◌ ِإن ﻫﻮ ِإ ِذﻛﺮ َ ُ ْ ٌ ﱡ ٌ ُ َ َ َ َ َ َ ﱠ َ ْ ُ َ وﻗﺮآن ﻣ ِﺒ ﴿ ٦٩ ﴾ ﻟﻴﻨ ِﺬر ﻣﻦ ﺎن ﺣﺎ و ِﺤﻖ اﻟﻘﻮل ﻋ َ َ ْ َ َ ْ ﱠ َ ْ َ ُ ﱢ ﱠ َ ْ ْ َ ْ َ اﻟﺎ ِﻓ ﻦ ﴿ ٧٠ ﴾ أوﻟﻢ ﻳﺮوا أﻧﺎ ﺧﻠﻘﻨﺎ ﻟﻬﻢ ﻣﻤﺎ ﻋ ِﻤﻠﺖ أ ِﺪﻳﻨﺎ أﻧﻌﺎﻣﺎ َ ُ ْ َ َ َ َ َ َ َ ُ ْ َ ْ َ َ ُ ُ ْ َ ْ َ ﻓﻬﻢ ﻟﻬﺎ ﻣﺎِﻟﻮن ﴿ ٧١ ﴾ وذﻟﻠﻨﺎﻫﺎ ﻟﻬﻢ ﻓ ِﻤﻨﻬﺎ رــﻬﻢ وِﻣﻨﻬﺎ َ َ َ ُ ْ َ َ َ ُ َ َ َ ُ َ َ ﺄﻠﻮن ﴿ ٧٢ ﴾ وﻟﻬﻢ ِﻓﻴﻬﺎ ﻣﻨﺎ ِﻓﻊ وﻣﺸﺎ رب ۖ◌ أﻓ َ ْ ُ َ َ ﱠ َ ُ ُ َ ً َ ُ ْ ﺸﻜﺮون ﴿ ٧٣ ﴾ واﺗﺨﺬوا ِﻣﻦ دو ِن اﻟﻠـ ِﻪ آِﻟﻬﺔ ﻟﻌﻠﻬﻢ ُ َ َ َ َ ْ َ ُ َ َ ْ ُ ْ َ ُ ْ ُ ْ ُ ٌ ﻳﻨ ُون ﴿ ٧٤ ﴾ ﺴﺘ ِﻄﻌﻮن ﻧ َﻫﻢ وﻫﻢ ﻟﻬﻢ ﺟﻨﺪ ﱡ ْ َ َ َ َ َ ْ ُ َ َ ْ ُ ْ ﱠ َ ْ ُ َ ُ َ َ َ ﻣﺤ ُون ﴿ ٧٥ ﴾ ﻓ ﺤﺰﻧﻚ ﻗﻮﻟﻬﻢ ۘ◌ إﻧﺎ ﻧﻌﻠﻢ ﻣﺎ ِ ﱡون وﻣﺎ ُ َ ْ ُ ﱠ َ ِْ َ ﱡ ْ َ َ َ ُ ُ ْﻌﻠﻨﻮن ﴿ ٧٦ ﴾ أ َوﻟ ْﻢ َﻳ َﺮ ا ﻹ َﺴﺎن أﻧﺎ ﺧﻠﻘﻨﺎ ُە ﻣﻦ ﻧﻄﻔﺔ ﻓﺈذا ﻫ َﻮ ِ ِ ً ِ ٍ َ ِ َ ٌ ﱡ ٌ َ َ َ َ َ َ َ َ َ َ َ َ ُ ۖ َ َ ﺧ ِﺼﻢ ﻣ ِﺒ ﴿ ٧٧ ﴾ وب ﻟﻨﺎ ﻣﺜ و ِ ﺧﻠﻘﻪ ◌ ﻗﺎل ﻣﻦ ُ ْ َ َ َ َ ٌ ُ ْ ُ ْ َ َ َ ﱠ َ ﺤِ اﻟ ِﻌﻈﺎم و ِ رِﻣﻢ ﴿ ٧٨ ﴾ ﻗﻞ ﺤ ِﻴﻴﻬﺎ اﻟ ِﺬي أﺸﺄﻫﺎ أول َ ﱠ َ ُ َ ﱢ َ َ ٌ َ َ َ ﱢ َ ﱠ َ ﻣﺮٍة ۖ◌ وﻫﻮ ِﻞ ﺧﻠ ٍﻖ ﻋِﻠﻢ ﴿ ٧٩ ﴾ اﻟ ِﺬي ﺟﻌﻞ ﻟﻢ ﻣﻦ اﻟﺸﺠ ﺮ ْ َ ْ َ َ َ َ ُ ﱢ ْ ُ ُ ُ َ َ ْ َ َ َ اﻷﺧ ﻧﺎرا ﻓِﺈذا أﻧﺘﻢ ﻣﻨﻪ ﺗﻮِﻗﺪون ﴿ ٨٠ ﴾ أوﻟﺲ اﻟ ِﺬي ﺧﻠﻖ WWW.IEC - Houston.org Islamic Education Centre of Houston Page 2 of 4 Month of Rajab Extract from Mafateeh | Bright Days (13,14,15th) ;   • LINGUISTIC MEANING “Be in This World As If You Were a Stranger Or A
    “Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler.” ~Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) The concept of being a stranger and how to interact with the stranger is a common theme in Islamic religious texts. The two primary sources of Islamic teachings are the Qur’an, the Holy Book of Islam, and the Hadith/Sunnah traditions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). To Muslims, the Qur’an is the literal Word of God, revealed to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) through Angel Gabriel, who recited the Qur’an to Muhammad (pbuh) in installments for over twenty-three years. The Hadith on the other hand, refers to the statements, actions, and approvals of the Prophet (pbuh) throughout his mission. They are traced back to the Prophet through a chain of narrators and recorded in canonical books. So, what does Islam say and how do Muslims view the stranger? Abstract: Nisfu Sha’ban is the middle of Sha’ban month. It is taken as an occasion by some Indonesian Muslims to perform certain rituals at mosques and mushollah (small mosques), such as sunnah prayers (non-obligatory prayers), recitation of the Quran (especially Chapter 36 Ya-Sin), and using water as a medium to pray to God. These acts of worship have become a part of the culture of many Indonesian Muslims who perform them at this time each year. They are not concerned whether these activities have a legal basis in the Quran and the Hadiths. Likewise, although there is still a debate between scholars over the authenticity of the Hadiths pertaining to Nisfu Sha’ban, mosques fill up every Nisfu Sha’ban night and the number of activities Muslims carry out then increases each year. This paper seeks to explain this tradition of celebrating Nisfu Sha’ban practiced by Indonesian Muslims, especially those in South Tangerang and the role of some Indonesian online medias in informing these activities. 1 INTRODUCTION are not based on sound Hadiths (ṣahīh) and that those that are used are mostly false.     At The Approach of Rajab and Sha’ban With the sighting of the crescent of Rajab, Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would anticipate and begin preparations for the month of Ramadan. This is two months in advance! People "live to see" various accomplishments in their lives, but a Believer "lives for" and yearns to witness sacred days like these. Rajab Du'a Sayyiduna Anas Ibn Malik (radiyallahu'anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would recite the following supplication when the Month of Rajab would commence: ِ ِ َال ّٰل ُه مَّ َّ َبار كََّّ َلن َاََّّ فََّّ َر َج بََّّ َو َش عبا َنََّّ َو َب ّل غنَاَّ َر َم َضا نَّ Allahumma barik lana fi Rajabuw wa Sha'bana wa balligh na Ramadan Translation: Oh Allah! Grant us Barakah (Blessing) during (the months of) Rajab and Sha'ban, and allow us to reach Ramadan. (Shu'abul-Iman, Hadith: 3534, Ibnu Sunni, Hadith: 660, Mukhtasar Zawaid Bazzar, Hadith: 662, also see Al-Adhkar, Hadith: 549) Hafiz Ibn Rajab rahimahullah says this narration is suitable to prove the merit of reciting this du'a -"istihbab. Lataif, pg.172. To declare this du'a as baseless is exaggerate. Sacred Months Rajab is the second of the “four sacred months” in the Islamic Calendar which are referred to as: "Al-Ash-hurul hurum" (Surah Tawbah, verse: 36) The others are: Zhul Qa'dah, Zhul Hijjah and Muharram. Explaining their significance the 'Ulama mention that during these months, good deeds are more virtuous and evil deeds are more detestable to Almighty Allah.

    Chapter 1 Foreword The first question that may occur to the reader as to the reason the au- thor (of the present book) has undertaken writing a commemorative volume about the perfect Gnostic, the pious servant, and the reverend "Shaykh Rajab Ali Khayyat"-particularly if the reader has been one of his disciples, would probably be: Why has a writer, who has never met with the Shaykh and whose field of work and research is not writing com- memorative biographies, made such an attempt like this? The Charisma of the Shaykh's Sayings Imam Ali (a) has been quoted as saying: "Together with every righteous affair there is a truth, and with every correct matter, a light" [1] Once at early youth when I accidentally encountered in Masjid-i Jamkaran in Qum with one of the devotees of Shaykh Rajab Ali, I became devotedly attached to the latter despite having never met him in person. I found in his words such truthfulness, radiance and charisma that scen- ted of the fragrance of the friends of God. For years, I eagerly longed for the life-story and words of that "unschooled beloved" and instructor of ethics at whose feet many pro- fessors from Universities and Hawza (Islamic Seminaries) had knelt in devotion, to be compiled, published and presented to the public, espe- cially the youth-who are in dire need of it at the outset of their life. If one of disciples of the Shaykh, who is given to writing, had made this valuable and instructive endeavor, there would have undoubtedly been compiled a more comprehensive collection than the present volume.
