  • CHEVROLETTER June 2020
CHEVROLETTER June 2020 Vol 2020 Issue 6.0 Director’s Report June 2020 I hope the beginning of June finds all our members in good health and managing the sheltering in place restrictions. New Covid-19 rates on Long Island are down over 90% compared to our worst times so we must be making a difference. I do not know how the lower infection rates and Cuomo’s planned phases will affect the remainder of the 2020 car show season. The AACA has cancelled their major event at Hershey in October. this is the first time since Hershey will not be having a swap meet and car corral. I am told there is still a possibility of having the vehicle judging on Saturday. Carlisle rescheduled their spring event and are hoping to hold more swap meets as soon as conditions allow. People are getting very innovative to enjoy their cars in a safe a responsible way. I have seen groups of cars at Sunken Meadow Park with a circle of guys socially distanced and chatting. My Wednesday Bagel Chalet group now meets in the parking lot with their cars. I have been in a few rolling car shows thru local neighborhoods to give the residents a bit of a lift. Our club member, Peter Sarros planned a commemorative run thru Huntington Hospital to thank all the front line workers. What started as a small event quickly grew into a multi club event and food drive for the Huntington Cares foundation. There were over 80 cars in attendance, a motorcycle color guard and a police presence to control traffic.

  • Dodge Truck Owners Manuals
Auto Literature, Inc. Since 1970 April 1, 2017 To our valued customers and friends, We have experienced tremendous price increases on nearly everything since our last increase nearly four years ago. Also we have added many new items that you may not be aware of that are now available. Even though we send out updates throughout the year, they may not reach the right person who needs to know. We have held the existing price on a lot of things but some things need to be increased, we have no choice! Our license agreements with GM, Ford, Mopar and Shelby have increased as well. Our agreements are only good for 2 years at a time so we never know what to expect. We continue to offer quality items at the best price, combined with prompt shipping and service, It is hard to keep everything in stock when we have over 5,000 titles. Most of our back orders are only for a short while. We try hard to accommodate your needs and avoid back orders. Thank you for your friendship and support all these years! Sincerely, Dave and Colin Graham, Owners Juan Zapoteco, Warehouse Manager This catalog is for Mopar cars, trucks and parts only. We also have a catalog exclusively for GM cars, trucks and parts as well as a catalog exclusively for Ford cars, trucks and parts. We also offer a picture catalog with a small picture of our inventory of over 4,500 pictures. Feel free to request any of these catalogs if they are of interest to you.

The Thomas "Flyer" made in Buffalo, New York, was considered a star of the show. The carmaker had been in production since 1900 and was a sea- soned company by the standard of the day. In 1908, just one year after the first auto show in St. Louis, a 60 horsepower Thomas "Flyer" similar to the model that appeared at the St. Louis show won the New York-to-Paris Race in 151 days of driv- ing, covering 13,341 miles.
