EXHIBITIONS The exhibition of paintings and drawings by combat artists of the United States Marine Corps will continue through Sunday, De cember 9. A selection of French paintings and drawings on loan from the French Government will be on view beginning Sunday, December 16. These works of art have been familiar to Gallery visitors dur ing the war period j this exhibition will probably be their last show ing before they are returned to France.
LECTURES During the Christmas season, there will be two special Sunday programs. On December 16, there will be a lecture on Van Eyck's Ghent Altarpiece and its war-time travels. In connection with this lecture, a Belgian film, "The Mystic Lamb," will be shown. On December 23, "The Christmas Story in Art" will be the subject of a program of color slides, accompanied by carols and other re^ corded music. \
TOURS GENERAL SURVEY. Monday through Friday at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.j Saturdays at 11 a.m. FOR SERVICEMEN AND WOMEN. Saturdays at 2 p.m. SPECIAL APPOINTMENTS. Groups of 15 or more desiring special guidance should apply one week in advance to the Educational Department.
